The things they say seem like heavy handed caricature of bodybuilders or something, I don't even know. They give you weird nicknames and none of them look that nice. I plan on having only one in my town, because more than one would probably drive me crazy.

I totally agree. The stuff they say gets extremely repetitive and annoying. I have two jocks in my town right now and I'm trying to get rid of at least one of them

Nothing is wrong with them, or any other villager. People will form opinions on villagers for any reason, and all of those reasons are valid.

I personally love jocks. They are my favorite personality, and Mac is my favorite villager!

They may mostly talk about nothing but sports and showing off their guns, and they have questionable nicknames for the player, such as, "muscles", and, "beefcake", but they do actually say some funny stuff every now and then. I think hearing them call me, "ladybro", is cute and funny.

I have Coach saying that he wants his face on a bag of potato chips, and I still laugh whenever I have this conversation with him.

I never had an issue with jock villagers:/ I like sports but I do understand how the constant yammering about them could be annoying. I like the uchi villagers too ! I like the villagers having distinct personalities, but I guess over time with repetiveness it could become annoying, especially if you don’t really vibe with the personality to being with
