We all know that sometimes our villagers follow the trends! Whether it be shirts or catchphrases, some of them can spread through your town like wildfire!

So what's trending in your town at the moment? Or has been recently?

Most recently in Laputa I had 8 out of 10 villagers wearing the sunset shirt. It was like some weird gang going on! Haha. I then found out that Portia was the culprit and got her to change her shirt to the deer shirt so now her and Becky are proudly representing Team Deer.

Also Al has managed to get most of my villagers saying "pebbles" as their catchphrase.... :p

Even though this has nothing to do with shirts, my villagers are always talking about Yerba mate. It's like the national drink of my village. cx

Aw that's so cute!

Currently mine are obsessed with the djimbe drum. They all seem to want to sell me theirs! I don't know where they are getting them from.

Yes! In Pawnee, everyone loves the Diamond shirt (four villagers are wearing it now, and I'm trying to post villagers other items of clothing to try and halt the tide), and in Koiwai three villagers have adopted Coco's phrase, doyoing.

Fauna has been so kind and trying to get everyone to wear the warm shearling coat xD so far, only Pietro has accepted and I can't say it looks great...ahaha. At least his neck will be warm!!! :>

It's a good time of year to want to wear the shearling coat! Good on Fauna to want to keep the other villagers warm!

Boy/boy and girl/girl switched shirts the other night. Iggly looked nice in the Black Flannel Shirt.
Teddy has everyone saying Bro.
Receiving a lot of Polka Furniture from the villagers. Found a piece in the police station.

The current trend in my town is everyone asking if my birthday wish came true. =v=

Every few days, my villagers will also talk about rice pudding which happens to be one of my favorite desserts. Destiny. XD

the fishing vest.... i think i've finally killed the genie shirt trend though so i'm happy about that. and i honestly lthink marshal is the only one wearing the fishing vest atm so i guess it's not trending atm but i honestly had a time when pretty much half my villagers wore the fishing vest and the other half was wearing the genie shirt :^)
glad that isn't a thing anymore

i think phil's space themed catchphrases have spread to some villagers, but not too many and it's kind of cute so i don't mind

I recently changed a villagers catchphrase to 'bubblebutt' and it's been a couple long time while since then and everyone is just spamming it around town, bubble bubble bubble butt <3

Chadder's catchphrase gets all the ladies in town, except for Ankha. I'm so proud of the cheese mouse, finally living it up to his dreams of becoming popular in the town.

Well... whenever there's Chadder in the dream villages I visit, almost everybody copies his "fromage" catchphrase. Fromage sounds tr?s chic. Chadder's a trendsetter.

I told Joey to say 'got any pants?' because if you've seen him he's the duck in diapers. And that went around now everybody is asking for pants. It's funny to hear it from other no pants villagers like Anchovy the bird.

Everyone in Orch?rd minus a select few own/ want to own a Jester tank. It's kind of creepy but kind of cute at the same time.

At one point in Ruddyoak, Tabby started this drawn-out trend of everyone trying to buy/sell/gift/re-gift/buy back this one bath mat.
