What's the longest you've had to wait for a villager to move?

I know it's random every 3-5 days and that you won't have two villagers of the same personality in a row pinging you to move out of town, but eventually you should cycle through every neighbor right? I've heard horror stories about some players having a 'glitched villager' that never asks to move, and I'm pretty skeptical about it, but I'm going on 4 months now without time travelling since Purrl took my 10th spot, and she's never once asked me to move while all my other neighbors have tried at least twice, some even three times. Should I just resort to time travelling to get rid of her? She's really putting a damper in trying to get through the 16 villager cycle and I'm pretty sure a good friend of mine is getting tired of holding Julian for me

Has no one moved since Purrl moved in? It's either a) [as rumour has it] really hard or b) impossible to get your 10th villager (i.e., your most recent move-in) to move. It might be that the only way you'll get her to ping is if someone else new moves in...which will mean that someone else will have to move out.

That said, don't take my word for it. What say you, folk of the forums?

I did some digging and unfortunately you are right, she won't move because she's my 10th, so I have to give up one of my 9 remaining dreamies </3 such a sad revelation. So I guess my question is can I still do the 18 villager cycle by only cycling out the two most recent villagers? I know it'll be tediously long because I'll have to wait for the right ones to ping me about moving, but is it possible? I really don't wanna have to lost more than absolutely necessary!

When i got my tenth villager, whom was zucker from campsite. Surprisingly he was actually the second villager to move out of Mochi after Fauna, so i've never had a problem with my tenth villager moving out o-o the only person who i wanted out was Chops and he took forever to leave and denied his move several times -_-

Anyone saying it's impossible for your 10th villager to leave first is wrong, since it's happened to me with Roald w/out cheating or anything. Just saying. :/

It's nearly impossible, but no not impossible.

One of the reasons I'm resetting my town is because of Antonio being my tenth, I actually invited him in from the campsite. But I had no idea about the 10th villager mechanic. He's cute but I don't really want him after seeing the full list of villagers.

Anyway Iggly took 4 months to move out.

Oh woops, I didn't realize I had typo'd and wrote 18. Thanks for catching that! Considering the one villager I'd consider giving up is Chief due to poor house placement, I'll give her until he pings me to move. I only found out about that mechanic today and oddly enough he pinged me this morning about moving and I said no, so she's got time @_@

Thanks for giving me all your input guys. I know it sounds mean but it's somewhat comforting to know people have had to wait longer than I have, because it means there's still hope xD
