What's the longest amount of time you've spent on plot resetting?

I spent 8 hours on Boomer.. Bangle took 10 hours, and even then she didn't go where I wanted her

Im not sure about the hours exactly but it took me all night & the next morning to get kabuki in a good spot .-.

Like eight hours yesterday for Muffy. She tired to move in twice, but both were in places I couldn't have her D: And then my previous uchi dreamie Cherry that I didn't want anymore moved into the perfect spot on the first try! ;-;

I just decided to let Antonio move in so I wouldn't get jock villagers next time and hopefully, I'll only get uchi villagers. It's especially a pain since I'm putting them into pairs (Bob and Marina are right next to each other, Fang and Diana are also right next to each other and Julian and Gladys are both separate but have room for a neighbor right next to them). But I kind of hecked up Gladys so I don't know if any villagers can move in near her and it'll probably take hours to be able to get Roscoe or Marshal near her once I am able to get them.
Wow.

0 seconds. I don't care where a villager moves. In my town there are only a few places where there's enough room for a house, mostly in the general area where other villagers have lived before. And if the screw up my paths, then I just redo them. I guess I don't have the patience for all of that.

30 mins... i dont care where they put the house as long as it isnt on my private island

I have a third town.

My game originated with five villagers. Villagers Nos. 6, 7, and 8 have just been completed. For No. 8, that is my Lazy.

Friday [03.28.2014], I spent around 10 hours getting the Lazy I want. It took 104 failed attempts until I was able to get the one I most wanted with my 105th try. Yes, I wrote down each attempt. I broke this up, during parts of the day, but it was ridiculous. There are 49 individual Lazies. Individually I went through 44 of them before I finally reached the one I wanted.

Still placing Lucky D| He was close twice, and I was considering leaving him where he was, but it was bothering me that he was 3 grids off from Ankha.

I think I spent an entire day on plotting marshal in my 2nd main. I just spent 6-7 hours trying to plot Deirdre to give up and put her somewhere else. Now I've decided I don't like the layout so once I get some good ones out of my cycle 2, I'll be resetting my cycle town and making it my 2nd main and re-moving those villagers back over. Reason for giving up, none of my bridges are going where I want them to and the stupid rocks are in the way of almost everything I want to do : ( at least I have all of my 2nd town dreamies safe and snug until I can move them back over.

I woke up ate 7:30 today like normal and have been campsite resetting since then. 11 hours i have been doing this.

11 HOURS.

I once kept going for three days resetting every chance I got trying to get Octavian's plot.
And I still didn't get him.
I settled for Kabuki cause I was sick of restting.

I got Diana yesterday and I was plot resetting all day in hopes to get her into my little 4 villager corner, and it happened.

0 days, 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds. I just let the animals place their homes where they please. I like the uneven look I can get from the town.

Eh, 45 minutes? I reset for Whitney today, casually, not speeding through it, just to get her off my paths. Other than that, she could live where she pleased. ...she liked my paths...but she did not succeed!

I just have a spot in my town where if I don't have the four houses spaced correctly and evenly, I will go mad from the huge empty space. I've tried getting all of my villagers to move into this area and so far only Julian, Merengue and Diana planted their houses there. Hopefully Rory does the same.

2 days for Muffy, I gave up and left her near Jeremiah since I really wanted to just continue my game.

Several hours. I recently got Agent S, and I didn't like where she kept plotting her house. Today, she landed near the train station. While it's not the place I wanted her to go, it's better than where she was going before that. So I'm fine with this.
