What's the hardest Side-Scrolling Mario Game?

Which Side-scrolling Mario Game is the hardest to you? I think SMB3 is the hardest to me.

The fact that I had to spend 30mins on one level.

I thought SMB3 was hard because World 7-8 were extremely hard to beat. The Airforce, Tank, and Navy Levels in Worls were extremely hard but, they were wicked cool also!

Lost Levels, hands down, the rest are pretty easy.

It was one of my first games ever, along with Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., and Donkey Kong Jr. I can't remember which one I actually played first, though. XD
