What's the deal with Rosie?

I see people all over the internet freaking out over Rosie. It's always 'gotta have rosie' or 'she's my dreamie' or 'I would kill for rosie!'

I understand if you just want Rosie because you had her in a previous installment. But I really don't understand why so many people seem to want her? Is it because she was one of the stars in the movie? I don't know. I'm confused. Could somebody help explain this to me?

I am not sure. I guess it's because she is one of the 'mascots' for the game? I believe that she has appeared in a lot of the game covers, has a few plushies and toys dedicated to her and is also generally very cute with her curly mouth and is instantly recognisable.

Personally, I had to have Rosie in my town and finally managed to get her yesterday, after months of playing. She was in my GameCube version 10 years ago and was one of my original villagers there. To me she 'is' AC and now that I have her at last, the game feels very nostalgic almost? Happy memories and really happy to have her.

I guess part of her popularity also comes from her ditzy personality too. She is pretty charming!

I think she's just really cute and one of the more popular villagers that you would see in ads and stuff like that, the movie may have contributed. Personally I love her, she's adorable (cats are my favorite animal), though I'm not one to go crazy for specific villagers. I guess some people just care more than others

She's popular because a lot of people think she has a cute design and therefore want her in their town. People generally want villagers that they think are cute.

I don't understand people making threads questioning other people's taste. People all have their own reasons for liking someone. I think she's cute. That's it. No other reason. People don't need reasons to want the things they want.

She's perfect, adorable, one of the best villagers in the game.

I think she's a very likeable villager too. When I first got her one of my friends was like "oh, you got Rosie. She's sooo overrated." A couple of days later he wanted to steal her from me. All I'm saying is don't hate her until you actually see her in the game. I understand that she might not be everyone's taste but I think she's cute enough to win a lot of people over, which is why she's so popular.

I just got her a few days ago and she's such a sweetheart . If you plan to put a pitfall in front of her , she won't get mad unlike the other villagers . Her facial expression is adorbs since its so kawaii !

A lot of people are into smug and peppy now and i see where you're going with , yeah , its tiring to see everyone saying or looking for rosie , marshal , chief , etc .

Its just that it depends what their into . What characteristics and what personality they have that attracts you to those villagers .

I think not only is she an interesting Peppy, I love having her in my town because at night she totally seems like a creeper with those big cute eyes xD Plus she is perfect as a cute character in my opinion, overall I just love the Kitty<3

In the end, everyone has their own taste in villagers. I like Rosie because she's cute and it'd be nice to have a villager you want while everyone else is freaking out in getting them :]
