Was thinking of letting a certain villager of mine who'd carry a large bell price, and it had me thinking, what's the most efficient way of getting bells to another player? Like, I'm talking in the Millions. Any advice?
There are really two main methods: drop and re-tail. Drop includes just as it sounds, dropping the bells down in the town and can be quite time consuming. Re-Tail includes setting meaningless items in your re-tail shop to super high prices and having the buyer buy the items so the money goes into your bank account directly, this is for sure quicker, just make sure to check they bought the items before finishing the trade. Hope this helps out
No, they still have to have bells on hand I think, so it's not entirely perfectly faster, but it does help the process as far as you not having to pick everything up after, and not having to count all the money bags. So, you can hold a total of 2 mil in your inventory if you store 500k in letters, and re-tail has either 7 or 8 selling slots, so it would take a few trips, but I feel like this is a safer method in general as far as accountability of the buyer

It speeds up the process though if you have a house nearby with an ABD, especially if your re-tail is far from the station. If Re-tail is near to the station, it saves you some time.

Yeah, it's definitely dependent on town layout, but either way, faster or not, I like this method because it's just safer in my opinion (as long as you don't have tons of hybrids that could be trampled on the way to re-tail, in that case, it gets dicey)!
