What's the best gift you've gotten from a villager?

For me,getting a villager's pic is always the best gift.

In the town that I had before Utopia, which was Haven, Velma gave me a bamboo shoot, even though my garden shop wasn’t selling them.

I can also remember in a previous town, Ankha giving me her throne for free.

We also can’t forget the villager pictures, now. Receiving them is always so exciting and rewarding.... :,)

Receiving a villager's picture for the very first time is always exciting. Aside from that, my favorite gifts are furniture items that I want to use in my house but haven't seen in the shops yet. Whenever a villager gives me an item like that, especially if I've been looking for it for a while, it makes me so happy.

Villagers pictures are my favorite gift.

Another favorite is the candy gingham tee that Miss Lolly gave me as a gift. Later I redid the Alpine Set with the tee. Placed the living/dining furniture in the front room.

Aside from villager photos, the best gift I ever got was when Rolf gave me a throne in return for a perfect pear. I was really surprised!

In terms of an actual item? I'd have to say a throne, which I got given by Chief when he was visiting my house! I didn't expect it since he doesn't have one in his house, but I was very glad to have it! Otherwise, the best thing I've gotten from them would have to be PWP requests--those helped me progress so much more in the game.

for the longest time, one of my towns didn't have cherries and i didn't know anyone else with animal crossing at the time so i was just suffering through endless requests of "hey mayor can you go to another town and get a cherry for me" for MONTHS and then one time i helped out Phil for something or another and he gave me a cherry in return ; A ;

also, not really something a villager gave me directly but when one of them asks for signatures from another town, i have a reason to ask my friend if i can come over to visit her town and we get the chance to hang out and play! since we're both busy, it's nice to have the opportunity to spend time together so i'm always grateful for the villagers when they ask me to go to another town :')

The best gift I ever got from an animal villager has to probably be fruits (any really), since it makes the process of collecting them all a lot faster.

My fave villager Roscoe gave me a bunny tee the other day and I was so touched I sent a letter about it. The bunny tee has a legacy in my town -- All the male villagers (except Rod who's refusing) are wearing it either through circumstance or me sending it to them. Egbert had just moved in, so it's like Roscoe knew I wanted more converts!
