Ahoy Kapp!! Sure, they say theirs more that's not been seen in the video.. Ofcourse!
I really hope to see gemstones for one!!
Also the ability to sit inside tubs seriously needs to happen!
As well as being able to gracefully walk into and or swim/fish and or dive in a river or pond!
Something tells me we will have to wait till the next game or something which makes me feel odd and it just seems ridiculous but atleast we can squeeze into couches.. that's a relief !
Maybe if we speak up now the developers will quickly implement some extra cool things last minute!
I am so so happy with what they have added for the update but the fact that they have not added rugs outside is very surprising to me, I feel like everyone was asking for this feature.
Larger things:
* The RE-tail Fleamarket. With Reese and Cyrus doing item recolors at Harv's, this rules it out from ever being a thing.
* Club LOL. This will never fit on our island, so unless it's in HHP, we're probably never going to see DJ K.K.
Smaller things
* Shopping cart at Able Sisters.
* Decline DIYs or Store DIYs
* Other QOL stuff.
Some things are probably still coming, such as Nook's Cranny upgrade.

Quality of life update, let us make fish bait in bulk! (5 is not bulk, at least 10s would be good, ideally a slider so I can buy how many I want and not waste my time >>)
More returning villagers! I mean, for Pete's sake, we got 50 in New Leaf! Series 5 is half the size of a normal set and I don't like any of the new ones. There's a lot of amazing designs from the Gamecube that are still abandoned. I'm really hoping that they'll come back.
I think rugs outside and dead trees might be back. There's something that kinda looks like a dead tree in the background at one point in the Direct. Rugs outside was also first a feature in HHD. They're porting over pretty much all of the HHD features for HHP. I know it wasn't shown in the Direct at all, but I will be a bit surprised if it doesn't show up thanks to that.
As for what I want, it seems like the free update + DLC is fixing most of my complaints for NH. I mostly want quality of life things now that I'm unsure if we'll ever get, like bulk crafting, crafting without pulling materials out of your storage, bulk buying in shops, a good search option for your storage, the ability to save town tunes, being able to store DIYs and turnips... stuff like that.
Persimmons and the tropical fruit from new leaf. Violet flowers, and red turnips are still missing (as far as we know). I doubt they'll be in the update but these would be a great addition with the new cooking stuff
WAIT I just remembered the biggest thing perhaps that is missing from the game currently and on update. Correct me if i’m wrong but didn’t Blather’s used to LOVE bugs? It would be nice to be able to hand him a cricket for donation without him screaming “Ick!” and “Blech!” at me. Lol.
at this point the only things i would really advocate for with any hope of them being added in are little quality of life things like bulk crafting fishbait/having a shopping cart at able's, and another Nook's cranny upgrade - considering the number of upgrades that were possible in NL, it's surprising to me that we've only had one this entire game? sure, having the full T&T emporium would probably take away a little from the no longer deserted island feel, but at least one little upgrade would be nice
I'm not really going to get into the habit of asking for more from Nintendo, especially since 2.0 is already such a huge update and it clearly stated this was the last major content update and I find it very unlikely they'll continue to update the game outside of events and bug fixes.
What's still missing are the quality of life updates. HOWEVER, I have a theory...
You see, Nintendo hates to admit when they're wrong about something. A popular example are the Joycons. Nintendo has never once said that they aren't well made or that they plan to make them better because by doing that, they are saying they did a cheap job. What they're most likely to do is one day is release "Joycon Pros" or something akin to that, hike up the price, and these will be what Joycons should have been.
Going back to ACNH 2.0, I'm assuming that the increase of bridges and inclines from 8 to 10 was because of us fans wanting it. However, instead of just saying "we now will let you do more bridges when you download the update because this is better", they said "when you download the update you have to buy something from the Nook Stop to increase it" because this is a new FEATURE, NOT a quality of life update to them.
With things like bulk crafting, they would either do one of two things in my opinion. 1.) They would have released a Nook Stop purchase for "Advanced Crafting Techniques" or something like that, which would allow you to bulk craft. If they did this, they didn't announce it and we'll find it on November 4th. 2.) They don't say anything about it and just put bulk crafting into the game as if it was always there so that they don't have to admit it was inconvenient the first time. I don't think they will do this because even without announcing it, it would be admitting the first way they did it was not great.
So in conclusion, if there have been any QoL improvements, they will be through something you can purchase UNLESS it is a VERY small QoL improvement, then they might implement it with no announcement.
i would really like two more villager slots so i’m hoping the paradise island can function somewhat as an second island i.e. moving villagers from your main island to it and freeing a villager slot
