What's something you miss from older games that's not in New Horizons?

For me, one of the big ones is Brewster. I loved the little coffee part-time job! There's also a TON of furniture sets i miss. While I really like the aesthetic of some of the sets in New Horizons, nothing in New Horizons beats how much I loved the customized versions of the Green Series from New Leaf or the Gracie Series. Speaking of, where IS Gracie? I always absolutely adored that gender-fluid giraffe. (Fun fact: Gracie was actually male in the original Japanese version, so yay for representation, but it sucks they choose to remove it!) Last thing I'll add, where's the "vacation juice" from pocket camp?! Come on Nintendo, let me have the margarita of my dreams on my island, there are no kids here.

Oh yeah youre right! I also just remembered something that wasnt in New Leaf but was in City Folk... Yard Sales! Those were really funny, you could buy stuff from inside villager's houses on certain days. So if they somehow acquired something... "unique" like a trash can or something that was completely out of place, you could buy it from them and make their house look nice again!
I agree about the villagers, in New Horizons their text is considerably more repetitive... it's really disappointing

Miss perfect fruit and giving perfect fruit to villagers and then they be like “omg....THIS TASTE HEAVENLY” then they give you a good gift after. Also them random showing up at your house. I remember being good friends with Ellie and she constantly showed up even though I was trying to decorate my house.
Edit: ALSO I l miss the music box version of the hourly music whenever it rains or snows.

i wish they'll add this in the future!! a lot of people have such amazing islands but you can't explore it unless you can go online with them :c

i miss the bright lights festival from wild world - i remember that being one of my favourite events and i was always so sad that i couldn’t participate beyond voting for who i thought had the nicest lights. that being said, a lot of the cute lil events from wild world would be fun to have again! #bringbackcornimer

more recently, i miss the dream suite - visiting dream towns was one of my favourite things to do in new leaf and i miss it ;u;

Some of the public work projects, some of the mini games, playing hide and seek with villagers, having the ability to make furniture customized by using ore, visiting villagers houses and buying their furniture, some of my favorite sets but i am ok with their not coming back if they are gonna add better ones, and also the old mail delivery schedule. I miss ReTail. I like having a spot for my villagers to sell stuff. It makes paying people easier to have a little marketplace where the bells go right to your bank. I miss having Cyrus customise furniture with clothing and different colors of ore. I even miss having Cyrus make us little statues of dinosour fossils.
