6 MORE DAYS AFTER TODAY AT THIS HELL HOLE.

I thought about it last night when I couldn't sleep... I can't say "second to last Monday, Tuesday, etc..." anymore after this week. It's smooth sailing after this week. I can't imagine I'll get any large projects during my last week, unless it's rate building for the hotels.

One. More. Week. ONE MORE WEEK UNTIL I MOVE IN WITH THE GIRLFRIEND. It's amazing to think about honestly. Like, holy crap! It's going to be such a huge adjustment honestly but I am so excited to take this plunge with her.

I will officially be a city girl.

My friends and I all scrambled through our pockets for enough money for a little ceasars pizza, crazy bread, and garlic sauce, then we ate it all in the car. Afterwards, we went to a church basement sale, and I got a cute sweater, two wall plagues, some smiley face stickers, and an angel figurine. My friends are great.

Finally getting that last paper done for senior status in the Fall at university, and it’s not as hard as I thought it would be. Literally everything becomes easier on any given assignment once it is actually started. Learned that awhile ago, but I’m happy about it.

Finals are done and over with, and the school year's officially over.

Also, I checked my library account today; the Queen CD that I placed a hold on a while back,
Greatest Hits l & ll, is about to be ready for me to pick up!

ooh my mom! we had a big fight and she's basically the only person i see irl, but she was so kind this morning! plus my amiibo cards came in the mail :^) my collection is getting there, and i'm so happpppy :"D

very happy cause I almost completed my Welcome Amiibo wishlist ;; it was super long but I'm proud of myself for being consistent LOL
also my partner was trying to make me happy last night after I told him I felt like a burden on him since he's mostly away for work ( which I understand btw) then I tried texting him today early & as expected no response LOL but hey still happy

This starts out sad, but it ends happily.

Last week, one of my customers was in and appeared upset. I asked what was wrong and he told me that he had just put his 6-year old dog down, as she had a neurological disease that shut down her breathing, heartbeat, etc. After I gave him his change, I stepped out of my office and gave him a hug, because I know how hard it is to lose a pet.

He was back in today, still sad over the loss, but looking a bit more like himself. He told me that giving him a hug made a huge difference in getting through the rest of that day and he appreciated it so much.

You never know how much a little kindness can mean to someone else.

I'm just feeling happy since my cat managed really well while she had to be vaccinated, even though she was obviously very nervous. She's been rather cuddly today in general too and now she's just curled up on my pillow behind my head.
