What's in your basement?

When there are tornado warnings issued here I haul ass to my aunts house, because she has a basement that's used for storage.

Used to have a basement in Colorado with exercise stuff, then moved here to Texas and it's rare to see a house with a basement, so don't got one any more : p With tornados I just hide in the closet under my stairs or in a bathroom with no windows

Idk I kinda like tornadoes. Obviously I don't like anyone getting hurt or homes destroyed or anything but it's kinda exciting when we get tornado warnings. It's fine though cause we get warnings all the time in my city but I've never had one seriously go through my house or anything.

Yup here in Texas there aren't many houses with basements. And if there are, then they're most likely historical houses.

That's weird, I was born in Texas and all my relatives there have basements but here in Colorado I've never had one.

I don't have a basement, and I'm so glad of it. Basements sound dark and scary with lots of spiders, depending on what condition you leave it in. We have an attic though, and I still refuse to go in there with all the creep crawlies etc. It's filled with a bunch of junk we don't use anymore.

Well, they aren't many tornadoes besides in tornado alley, and I live in the mountains in Washington.
