My friend was remaking their town and moving their stuff to mine, all was going fine, but i had disconnected a few times and they had to start over (which was annoying but easy to do). It's now reset about the 4th time now, and on theirs it said they got disconnected but on mine it had saved, and a good part of their stuff is just gone. It's not in my town and it's not in their lockers. No one on my friends list came (no one that could essentially mess anything up), my wi-fi connection is great, but the stuff is just gone? I tried closing my game and opening it again, but to no avail. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is it common? I know disconnecting is a problem that often occurs and you have to go gather stuff again or do whatever it was you were doing all over, etc. but the items have just completely disappeared.
They're really upset about this obviously since it took a long time to get. Does anyone know what I can do or if there's a solution or if the items are just gone forever? I've never had this happen before.

I have never had that happen to me
whenever i got disconnected the items where at either my friends town or mine.
Hopefully you guys get it sorted out though

Yeah, I've never had this happen before or even heard of it happening. Unfortunately I think we're just going to have to gather all that stuff again. :/

It can happen while duping. Maybe the same thing happened only you weren't duping, it was just a coincidence. Hope this helps!

It's happened to me. Thankfully, it was only a basket of fruit and a couple saplings when it happened to me.
