What would you done differently

Whats so bad about looking high 8D

I wish I had gotten a map with more space. I don't have much space anymore for new villagers or PWPs.
Not much I'd like to do differently... x3

What are some things you wished you have done in the past or beginning of the game that you are regretting about now.

As for me;
  • Use the face guide instead of doing random. My character's face looks like he's always high and I want to change it soo bad.
  • Not building reset center where its at now.
  • Had my house where it is now, maybe a coupe spaces to the right would be fine.
  • Regret where I put the Cafe and campsite.

Funny you mention the face guide; I used it specifically so I could look like that! xD

I thought long and hard about every decision I made. I like my map, and I like where I've placed everything. The only thing I wish I took into consideration is the location of Re-Tail on the map. I wish it was closer to the Beach Dock Basket. I literally have to run from opposite corners of the map to get from the Beach Dock Basket to Re-Tail.

I don't regret my campsite spot. It's in the exact area that I'm building as a kind of woodsy area.

My cafe is in a slightly weird spot. It's kinda far away from everything else. But it's so big that I think I would've regretted it if I had put it somewhere else. The size would've taken up prime real estate for other things. Since I only go there once a day, it's not a big deal.

I wish my town had only 1 pond instead of 2, but the spots they're in aren't too terrible. Overall my town is pretty good.

I couldn't think of any...I'm actually pretty happy with my town :)

In the beginning I did wish I put my house and the campsite on a different spot, but I worked with it and it grew on me. So now I'm happy with it :)

Probably chosen a different map, not have sold my perfect peach and planted it as I have had no perfect fruit since then >.< and placed my house where the cafe is :D

I would have chosen another town layout, the one I chose have to be the worst one ever. ;_;

I would have built my cafe someplace else. Also would have placed my house somewhere where there's more space surrounding it so my villagers wouldn't be crowded around me on what was once my secluded cliff. And I would have originally placed demolishable PWPs right at the tops of my beach access ramps to keep villagers from placing their houses in these stupid spots. I've already let one villager go because of this stupid placement!

1. I would've reset longer. I actually spent June 9 resetting, which was tough for me to do, after waiting so long and knowing that so many others were already enjoying the game. On June 10 I settled on a town that had the features I was looking for (certain building placements, triangle grass, apples), but it's not 100% flawless. The river, ponds, and rocks could be better... I kind of wish I was pickier so that I wouldn't have those slight lingering regrets. What if I reset a few more days and found a better town? :/ I couldn't reset my town at this point, but I'm thinking of starting up a second town to see if I can find the perfect layout and such.

2. I would've put my house one space lower than it is, so I could fit a row of trees behind it (Not a big deal, though :P)

3. I would've done the choose-your-villagers'-house-location trick! >_< By the time I found the thread about it on here, I think I'd already gotten 9 villagers, pretty much all of them in bad locations. Now it's a waiting game for them to move out (I don't TT so it could be a while).

I haven't built permanent projects like the caf?, campsite, police station, etc., so I don't have anything to regret there (yet). The caf? is the main one I'm thinking about building right now, not too interested in the others.

Regretting put the reset center where it is. I was building a little ring of bushes around it, but I can't do one side they won't grow as it's too close to the manhole, yet, too close to the river as well.

I so also kinda wanna move my Cafe (which you cant obviously) but the place where I'd put it is between Nana's house and the Well. Neither of which I plan moving TwT.

I think the only things I would have done differently is the reset trick with my beginning villagers as they were all hideous and It took me forever to get them all to leave!! ~ My current villagers are all awesome now though!

The other thing being my house, I wish I put it where Lionel's house is, although to be honest, I've came to terms with it and kinda like where my home is now :')

I could have gotten a different map; my river doubles back on itself, taking up precious space. It's nothing to reset over, but I wish I would have reset the game to find a better layout (I chose this one on the first try).

I ended up resetting when I had issues. Rocks in annoying places, weird faces. My first 5 towns I stayed in for a day, tested out the layout and that was it. Decided whether I liked it or not then reset and tried again

I would have done a different layout, used a face guide, not run as much as I have shocking dirt patches, and not sold my perfect peach at the beginning of the game - I wasn't aware they took forever to appear again, as I haven't had one since and it frustrates me so much, aha.

I knew about the face guide so I like my face villagers not a problem since they move eventually
I think only thing I hate about my town is the beach layout I prefer the beach all in 1 with the little island bit.
