What are some things you wished you have done in the past or beginning of the game that you are regretting about now.

As for me;
  • Use the face guide instead of doing random. My character's face looks like he's always high and I want to change it soo bad.
  • Not building reset center where its at now.
  • Had my house where it is now, maybe a coupe spaces to the right would be fine.
  • Regret where I put the Cafe and campsite.

I would have used a face guide, but I'm happy with my face anyway.

I would have not sold the perfect orange growing in my village-I haven't had any perfect fruit since then. I would maybe have put my house somewhere different as well.

This.
I was outdoors the first ~2 hours with the game and had no access to the internet.

House placement.

Portia moved in front of my house and Doc is moving next to it. Near that zone, I have Twiggy, Prince, Deena and Caroline.

We're a happy neighbourhood!

Would have been more careful using the reset trick for Willow's house... other than that, nothing. o3o

I would've chosen a different map and probably would've done the villager reset trick had I known about it.
Also I would've done something different with my fruit trees instead of planting them randomly.

I would have put the campsite to the left of the train station where there's a narrow strip of land and I would have put the reset center to the left of that because they are out of the way. Maybe I wold have also placed on of my houses where the campsite is, but mainly it's my place,want of the campsite and reset center that .

The good thing is, I'm being selective with my projects and only interested in certain ones.

I'd have probably reset for a better map, where there's no thin strips of land against the cliff/railroad that barely anything can fit into.

I'd also position my campsite somewhere else.

I wish I had known about the villager reset trick earlier so I could have had the only villager I wanted in the entire game.

I would have chosen a different location for my house. Some of you have really lovely gardens in front of your houses, and I don't have space for that because I thought it would be neat to have my house near the cliff towards the beach. It is neat, but I'd really like to have a garden.

Same. Mine only has a couple of spaces to the right and not a lot of room to have a garden or anything.

I would've been a little bit more diligent about where I planted my fruit trees and regular trees so I could've had more intricate pathways and more spaces to plant my bamboo. I don't like chopping down so many trees ; - ;

Not decided to build the dream house or whatever it's called. I have to pay it off before I can get the campsite now D:

I wish I would have known about the reset trick earlier! I would have reset for better villager home placements. Also, probably would have changed the location of my house a tiny smidge. Overall no huge regrets, although I do have villager houses preventing me from building a bridge. I have all my dream villagers though so I will gladly deal with inconvenience of not having the bridge in order to have the villagers :)
