What Would You Do To Get Your Dreamies?

Ok so I recently because obsessed with getting a town full of dreamies, and I'm pretty sure at one point 4 million other people did so too. But some people do some crazy things, pay some crazy prices or give away their most treasured villager for them but I recently paid 500 BTB for a 100% Marshall and I was saving up for Rosie with that money! (I know I'm an idiot) but the point is this. What would you do to get your favourite villager? What would you give away for that dream town of yours? I want to see how much you love your villagers and how much you want them! Why? Coz I wanna.

So here's something to give you the gist of it.

I would cycle out as many villagers as I could to complete my 16 villager cycle since Rosie moved out. I would even let some of my half-dreamies go to complete it!

That's what I would do to get Rosie back because I loved her so much.
So let's see what bizarre things you guys would do to get those dream villagers!

I camp reset more than 80 times for Kabuki to show up. He never did. Thankfully, I got him from PandaNikita now and it's because I saw Kabuki here that I joined this forum.

I hated Kabuki when he was in my town and I felt like partying when he was leaving! You should of collected him the day I joined, I put up a post saying he was leaving but because I was new it got removed because it was in the "wrong area" :/

I was pretty fortunate to get all my dream villagers for free ;v;

Buuut if Anicotti or Fang ever move out, I'd reset my town in a heartbeat to get them back. I can't imagine a town without them and I'm way too impatient to do 16 cycle...

Ah yeah, that could happen. I lurked the forums and read all the rules to make sure that doesn't happen myself. All the different boards might be too much for new members but it makes finding stuff a lot easier actually! I'm most thankful that we don't allow "Looking for" threads cause that can flood the board and cause the Selling and Giveaway threads harder to find.

And to stay on-topic, I've been lucky with my other dreamies but I always missed Olivia and Genji

Well, I did the 16 villager cycle more than 5 times but I got most of my dream villagers thankfully for free or had just piad little money/TBT for them/traded them for then-current villagers
For my cousin I reseted for the campsite and the 8th villager a lot and once paid 10 millions for a top-tier villager ;-;

I've never had to do a whole lot for my dreamies, thankfully, but I'm getting nervous now that I've got 8 out of 10. I'm going to need to start TTing soon to get someone to move out to make space, and I'm super nervous that I'm going to lose one of my dreamies. :\

I don't have dreamies, exactly, though there are some villagers I like and would want in my town.

Some of them are villagers that I looked for. I got all of them for free so far since many of the villagers that I like are or were Tier 5s. The only really popular one that I'm looking for is Kyle and he's not worth a lot of TBT. Even if he were a Tier 1, I wouldn't mind spending TBT on him since I don't care that much about accumulating TBT.

Most other villagers are just villagers that randomly moved in or showed up in my campsite. I ended up liking them and I love some of them as much as I'd like any dream villagers. Some of them are pretty popular and others are hard to find, so I'm glad I managed to get them just by playing the game.

I wouldn't do anything extreme to get the villagers I like other than spending some TBT. However, if one of the villagers I want to keep moved out, I'd be willing to cycle through 16 just to get them back. That's probably nothing compared to the lengths people go through with campsite resetting to obtain the ones they want, though.

I don't have dreamies either, if I really liked a villager and wanted them i'd just wait till they came up in my town

I would say I was pretty lucky finding my dreamies. For example, the minute I posted in a Zucker thread (ages ago) practically 10 other people made Zucker offers to me. I came by a free Mira as well.
But, Nana just moved out, and I'm never lucky getting new villagers. Besides, theres only so many dreamies someone can have.

I would venture into the cave of wonders to retrieve the magic lamp, and then escape the cave as I avoid falling rocks while I fly on my magic carpet and after all of that I will awake the genie in the lamp who will break into a song and after the song I will then wish for my dreamies

I've paid pretty generously for mine, except when they were very kindly given to me for free.

But when it comes to Lily, I would've done unspeakable things for her. Unspeakable.

About a year ago, I bought an extra 3ds and an extra cartridge to cycle for my dreamies! The irony is, I got most of them through villager trading and not from my own extra town or cycle town. But I did manage to make a lot of people along the way, ha, ha.
