I'd love to do a city like that in Animal Crossing:

For me it's very impractical as an actual island/town, but I'd love to make such a grand design and just go crazy with it.

So my first island is a ransacked tourist destination full of rough and rowdy people.

My second would be a black market island full of seedy business like what Redd does and dangerous deals.

I've gone with a "small british village" look for mine. I think if I had another shot I'd love to do the total opposite and make one really big and bright and built up!

I;d probably use one for TT and cycling dreamies for people, trading, etc, and just leave the other one to play casually on

Go absolutely crazy on terraforming the second island without the fear of ruining my main island.

I don't think I would enjoy having two islands because one would be my favorite and I wouldn't enjoy my other as much. BUT, if I did, I would have to have one super themed and decked out to the gills. How would it look? I have no idea but it would have to be a project and a half.

Decorating-wise... probably nothing. I'm already lacking in ideas and creativity for my one island, haha. I'd probably use a second island for cycling. It's a fun way to meet villagers I may not have met otherwise, and I'd be able to help people here get the villagers they want. But, alas, I will most likely never have a second Switch.

i'd love to do a modern-japan island- this one tumblr user i follow has the cutest island that's this theme! it's just too different from what i've currently got going on, so i don't know if i can integrate it into my current island.

Cycle. Being able to gift people villagers that they really wanted was a lot of fun for me when I had two new leaf towns

i'd tt a lot in it to get these sweet winter and autumn sets! probably cycle as well.. after that hm.. id probably try building a town thats very different from my (natural themed) main

I'd probably make a horror island!! I did a horror dream town with my second copy of ACNL so it'd be fun to do again especially with the creative freedom ACNH has.

I would probably theme my 2nd town. There are so many things I want to do that my island now is a mesh mosh of different themes.

i'd time travel and try cycling and maybe have it be autumn or spring themed! i'd also be able to take out all the cliffs, trees, flowers etc. and terraform it to perfection without being worried that i'll mess it up :')

I would do exactly the same thing!!
Choose my preferred flower and fruit (didn’t get to the first time but don’t wanna restart)..
Terraform to my perfectionist’s desire...
Try and get all the good villagers.. (cycling)
Eventually use it as my main town if I get it far enough! So easy to transfer everything over.

Hmm since it's such a new game i feel like playing two islands normally would be a bit much!! So i'd probably cycle villagers and breed hybrids and host people when there's crafting villagers, and i'd get rich with turnips and hand any nice furniture and recipes over to my current island. Eventually it'd be nice to do some elaborate landscaping!
