Ok so what would happen if you completely filled your town with custom designs or PWPs.
What would happen if you asked a villager from another town to move in?
Where would they go?

Maybe in a void too...
But I like it. I can keep only 8 villagers and not be forced another .

Oh god. Uhhhh, I also wanna know. I mean if you replace another villager with them via amiibo, they'll obviously go exactly where the villager they replaced once lived. But if you have 9 villagers, cover the whole town in designs, and invite someone in...

From what I know, if there's no space, they'll simply plot on the patterns, so covering your entire town in patterns does nothing. Would be sort of funny if it did stop them from moving in, though. Could imagine people covering their towns in patterns to stop SP move-ins, or to stick to a certain number of villagers.

I remember working so hard on a pattern that Lionel could never just plop his house anywhere, he would have to be in a specific spot, I was wrong. Instead of moving to give room for his door, moved his house DIRECTLY BEFORE THE PATH, leaving a little empty square in my path that looks so weird!!! Good thing I'm restarting my town and not letting this bother me. In order for Lionel's house to work, I would have to demolish my bridge and make a whole new path system for the top of my town....D:< never again!!!!
