one time I met a lady from Japan and we exchanged friend codes, visited each other right away, and then exchanged best friend codes so we could have future visits when we were both online. that was really interesting and fun.

I made friends with one boy and one girl. We all exchanged friend codes and I met his friends and her friends, their friends became friends. I met so many people it was really awesome.

I guess doing the hammer tour about a few summers ago, with a few friends I had added from when the game was first released. I had so much fun that day tbh, even though it was online it was honestly one of the best summers, I was never really bored because there was always somebody on ACNL considering we all added eachother on best friend chat. The island tours are the best with friends, we were all really competitive, mainly me I know this isn't related to club tortimer, but it did take place on the island and it's the first thing I thought of so I thought i'd share. :)

I meant to also put this in the OP:

one time I was there and the CT was full, we all decided to go on a tour that was selected by a girl from Canada. there was one annoying guy from USA in a jester mask who kept jumping up from his seat, doing different emotions, running around the room, then sitting back down, delaying the whole thing. The girl from Canada was standing the whole time watching this while I was seated and another girl there was seated waiting for the tour to depart. Then the Canadian girl timed it perfectly and sat down right when the annoying jester had jumped up, and the tour left without him! when we got to the tour island she said "Rip that guy," it was hilarious, that girl was awesome!

one time i met a guy on the island and we covered every last tile in holes
it sounds kinda dumb thinking back, but we just meshed really well and exchanged friend codes and all
it was really fun!!

I have only had bad experiences on Club Tortimer except for a few times :/, but it's nice to hear that other people have had fun there :)

I must be unlucky because I always get the weirdos that try to harass me or ask bizarre personal questions.

I usually go right for the tours. sometimes i pause first and look at the display for other people there and then decide whether to invite them, based on how normal/mature/weird their name and motto suggests. plus, if they've acquired lots of badges that's usually the sign of a serious player and not a troll.

I've met some nice people on there. I used to go there a lot in 2013. I just started playing & I met a Japanese player on there, she gave me a whole Gracie outfit - that was so nice! Another time I was playing on there & another player gave me 1mil bells and told me they just liked helping people.

I once had a chat with somebody about their really cool t shirt design. They were giving me tips and all sorts on how to make my own, which was nice considering I don't get many good experiences on CT.
Another time somebody turned up, didn't say hi or anything, and just started dropping100k bags of bells and Royal crowns!
Then he left without saying a word. There was only me on the island at the time too so I obviously took everything....
One time I went the island was full, which I had never had happen before. We were talking about Zelda games for a while and then we all went off and did loads of tours together. Lasted quite a while before one of us had to leave. That was a good day, I got about 100 medals in no time.

I gave this nice girl a golden rose, then she ran to her basket and gave me a lucky clover. :)

I made friends with an older guy, and his wife, and his sister in law, and his teenage daughter, and his 6 year old son. Lol. They all played ac together. How cute is that? They were a very nice family. That was about two years ago and they don't seem to play anymore.

i met this girl on club tortimer and she was chill and i was having fun talking to her and she was like 'add me on fb' and i was thinking 'i can't add a 12 year old on fb that's creepy' but turns out she was my age and super nice. i don't really talk to her but she likes my photos and that's all you can really ask for from a friend

On my birthday, I ran into a nice person from Japan that I'd seen a few weeks before and we were both like "It's you again!", and for my birthday he gave me the turban he always wore xD So I gave him the blue rose I was wearing, and we walked around catching bugs and looking silly with each other's accessories, but disconnected shortly after v.v

i once played some tours w someone from japan, she was really nice and clapped her hands when i caught expensive bugs lmao

oh gosh, i was waiting for a chance to talk about things like this!!
i'll just list a few people i've met on the island:

  • a japanese woman whose name was very similar to mine (her name is aimi, mine is aimee), and who was very kind and fun and thoughtful!
  • a little girl who didn't speak english well. we spent a lot of time together. we raced around the island in our wetsuits. she told me i was her best friend on the island. i took screenshots of it, i was happy!
  • a korean girl who wanted me to visit her town almost as soon as i arrived. she visited my town afterward. she was so kind, and she didn't cause any trouble in my town either!
  • three people who were all coincidentally from my country (even though i went to the international island). it was so easy to be casual and fun with them. the tours were a blast!

my favorite people to meet are little kids. they're always so cute and kind to me!

Well I'm currently going on a ton of tours with this one girl, unfortunately she doesn't know her friend code so we are just gonna continue touring. This is my first club tortimer experience that wasn't just neutral or bad.

Someone gave me a hammer for free on there one time.

I actually think it is humorous when people troll me on there. A ton of people have told me to give them all my bells. I might go on there right now to see what happens.

My favorite time was touring with a Japan player. She was happy that someone wanted to do tours.
Just before she went home she got a sandcastle out of the box and gave it to me.
It was the last item that I needed and offered her bells. She said no it's a gift. It's displayed in my museum.

I do love doing tours with other players. Abunch of nights 3 players asked to do tours and helped my side player get a lot of medals. Tours that I didn't do I gave them a try and did well. I now challenge myself to all the tours.

Another time arrived on the island three players dug holes so they could fall into the hole. It was a lot of fun.
I found out how to net glitch and get on the side of the hut thanks to some younger players. Also learnt the stump glitch and took a lot of picture with 2 player sitting on one stump. Another time players went on the hide n seek tour to get the pitfall seeds. Came back and buried them to fall into them. It was nice to see players just having fun instead of standing around begging for bells.

I was just there, and there was a guy dropping money. It wasn't just a joke either! He didn't error, he was just a nice guy who liked helping people out. I collected like 13-15M from him. Then me and the other girls who were there talked for a while after we were done being greedy (lol) and went on a couple of tours. It was really very pleasant, another mark on the short list of good experiences I've had at Club T :)
