What was the first villager that you became close with?

For me, I remember it was Rocket. I spoke to her the most when I got a new town, and ever since she gave me a medicine after seeing I got stung by bees, I became obsessed with her

Goldie she was the first villager that I talked to in my first town.

In New Leaf, it was probably Monty. He was my first cranky villager and I've always loved the cranky personality. He was also the first to give me his picture.

for me it was Poppy in City Folk. I only have vague memories of playing city folk, but I know that at the time my favorite was poppy.

It was Moe in Wild World for me! I would send him so many letters and talk to him so often throughout the day, we became close friends. Now I have him in New Horizons so I can keep bothering him!

Poppy and Grizzly were villagers who were apart of my starter five in New Leaf. I instantly fell in love with Poppy's wholesome, kind personality and adorable looks, while Grizzly, despite looking mean and grumpy, was truly so caring and wonderful. I love them both so much, and were my first Animal Crossing friends.

I plan to get Grizzly when I can (currently at a max 10 villagers, no one wants to move out, and I unfortunately lack his amiibo card), but I was able to get Poppy onto my island and it's incredibly heartwarming to have her again. I can't wait to get the trio of me, Poppy, and Grizzly back together again!

In WW, I remember Blaire, Whitney, Static, Peanut, Savannah and Agent S being the closest to me, though I don't know who came first In New Horizons (I did play NL, though never as intense so I do not remember any villager being special to me), it is Buck, the green horse, one of my starting villagers. He's still one of my favorites in town, though I recently found Whitney on a Nook island and I am so happy to have her again!

I am planning on finding Blaire and Static (the only cranky I like) again, and for the rest of my villagers I hope to find nice new ones

Aurora wayyyy back in the Gamecube days. Also Huggy the koala. The closest we have to her now is Melba.

Peanut. She was one of my starter villagers and her immediate "let's be friends!" attitude was really charming. Peppies have the best dialogue in New Leaf too imo.

Tabby and Ellie in my GC town, they both lived in the acre next to mine and were my first stop every morning <3

I fell in love w Roscoe in Wild World and he moved away way too soon

And Deirdre STOLE my heart in NH, i intended to kick her but everything i didn’t like about her design suddenly became cute to me, i love her!

Ken. I totally resented him at first for barging in, throwing off the ~aesthetic~ of my town and then selling me fake art lmao. But I forgave him pretty quick and then he was like the highlight of my day. A proper gentleman. Always giving me good stuff. (Plus, ninja chicken.)

I can't remember who was first, but Cally, Flora, and Phoebe in NL. Phoebe was the first to move in and Cally and Flora were there from the start!

Wild World, I'm not even sure I reset so many times however I realise I remember a bunch of villagers, Bunnie being one. I am obsessed with her lol she's my ultimate favourite. New Leaf? Frita. I didn't know she existed until she moved in shortly after my I did and I love her soo much even though she went adventuring on my birthday and it took me a year to get her back. I have sooo many other favourites it's hard to choose~

Oh also my friend sent me their Muffy amiibo and I love her she's basically me but in game, we have soo much in common lol

Annalisa and Tammi were in two seperate games I had and I loved them both so much and talked to them any chance I could! I'm almost certain they got tired of me really quickly

In WW was Benedict. Don’t know why but I really liked him and he is still very dear to my heart! I was shuttered when he decided to leave. In City Folks it was Poppy, loved her and still love her a lot and I was able to reconnect with her two days ago when I finally got her. For NL it was Wolfgang, such a funny cranky to have around. Lastly, in NH it was Chrissy. I liked my two starters(Iggly and Pashmina) but not as much as cute Chrissy. Found her on an island and took her in in a heartbeat. She will probably never leave my island.
