I know this is a strange question, but I'd seriously like to know what was the first version of Windows you used. Mine was Windows 98 when I was a kid.

I think it was Windows 98 when my dad had it on our old PC. I played games like Lego Knights Kingdom and web games like Neopets on it.

I don't really remember right, but I do remember using someone's PC with Windows 98 back then.. it's a very faint memory.

The first PC I ever owned though, had Windows XP.

I think I used Windows 2000 originally. At the very least I've known the Internet since about 2002, so...
But otherwise, I really don't remember.

I'm actually waiting for someone to come in here and claim they never used Windows before - that'd be something...

Probably 95. I can't remember too well though cause p much always had computers at home..

I'm going to show my age by saying my option is not on the poll. Windows 3.1 was the first I used. That was before Windows 95.

i think it was windows xp but honestly idk
it looks like all the computer i used to use looked like so i think that's omthe one i used first... my parents' super old colputer was maybe older and another version but I didn't use it that much

Windows 95. My grandparents were the first in our family to get a computer, so that's where I would have used it. My school had it as well.

I find it funny that back then the school had just one computer between the entire school.

I voted for vista, but thinking back I realize it was actually Windows 98 because we had two computers in our house at the time that me and my sister used for games only. XD

Windows 98! Kind of miss the screen savers. Especially that haunted house and the maze. That 3D blew my mind.

Windows 98. I was born in 1998, so, I obviously didn't use it back then, but I must have been about 4 years old when I was first allowed to use the computer. My dad was very tech-savvy (WAS) so actively encouraged me to get involved with technology from a young age. I only really played silly PC rom games on the computer, like little click and point type things, when I was 7 I was allowed to have my own email. xD I only really used it to message my friend who I went to school with... Eventually my dad upgraded to Windows XP so then I had the Windows 98 computer. It was really slow and crappy though lmao so I rarely ever used it, and I only had it in my room because there was no where else to put it.

It's kind of interesting how people were tech savvy, but not able to learn to change as the tech did. Mostly people born with tech have that seamless ability.
