Love playing at night more than in previous games. There's just something so peaceful about my island at night when the moonlight is shining down on outdoor placed items and on my river and ocean. The stars in the sky are beautiful to look at too. Also like the fireflies flying around the river. Lately I've had some problems with insomnia so I've been playing in the wee hours of the morning and it's so relaxing. The villagers that are still up get into thought bubbles more and ping me more frequently then during the day. Usually Fang and Cherry are still awake at 2am. Sometimes they are joined by Diana.
I also like to play around 5pm-7pm. The music and sunset are awesome but I usually can't cause of real life duties.
In the previous games I'd usually play with the clock set at 11am.
I usually play around 9am, so that all villagers are awake and all shops are open. Then I play again at around 7pm to check for Celeste and possible shooting stars.
i typically don’t play until 9am as both shops will be open at that time and all of my villagers will be awake - my gameplay usually lasts 60-90 minutes and then i’ll play sporadically throughout the rest of the day ;u;
Dunno really, it's mostly afternoon or evening since I work and have to help my mom with some stuff when I get back. I do TT but some fish never bother to show up anyway lol.
usually the morning. For a while, I was getting up at 5 am because the hourly music at 5 am is stunning. I'm usually up in the morning more than at night anyway. However, since the music is on YouTube, I've been sticking to about 8:30 and playing for at least half an hour so Able Sisters opens, because I'm a sucker for all the cool clothes in this game. I spend most of the day playing anyway (at least, on days I don't work) so I see the game at all kinds of times, but morning is still my preferred.
I mostly played during day (maybe that's why I've barely seen Celeste or shooting stars ), but recently I tend to play by night more and more since I have the feeling I miss a lot of exclusive night things. Also days are longer IRL in summer so I tend to go to sleep later now lol
I start my dailies around 5am, right when the new day hits. Then I go to sleep, and then do my shopping when I wake up around 2pm - 5pm. I'm usually playing late into the night lol. My sleeping schedule go all kinds of screwed up when ac launched, especially because I'd stay up so late doing tarantula island. Having no work meant that I didn't have to force myself to sleep. I think I prefer playing when it's light out, so early morning and day time to afternoon. When it's night time and dark, it's really hard for me to see..
I usually check in at around 9 am before I officially start work. I will try to take care of some dailies then if I can and check what's new at the stores.
After that, I will usually check in around late afternoon, evening and then before bed.
There have been many occasions though where I couldn't sleep and played until the wee hours of the morning just fishing or replanting flowers or trees and/or terraforming.
Since starting next week I will no longer be at work, I have a feeling I might end up starting to play later during the day.
