A lot of people in this thread are saying things like spiders. What about bats?
Bats don't scare me. My house in Japan was in a neighborhood where a lot of Japanese house bats lived. Every fall, 1 or 2 would somehow find their way inside my house during the timeframe when it first started getting cold and they were getting ready to hibernate for the winter. The ones in my neighborhood were more brown than that picture. They were small, brown, and fuzzy. They don't care about humans - they just eat things like moths and beetles. I would catch it in a box or an empty jar and then put it outside and it would fly off somewhere else.
Every fall I had to make sure to check all of my curtains every evening, because when they got in, they would just cling to the curtains and sleep. Most, anyway. I had 1 that got in and decided to fly around like a lunatic. That was interesting to catch.
