I've done this thread before, but many of you have recently joined/reset their towns so I'd love to see what new themes people have come up with. I'm doing a historical themed town in the memory of all the people who died in wars, protest, ect ect.

both of my towns are pink themed.
My main town is more organized, fairy tale themed.
My second town is less organized, and I am trying to make it look like a forest/garden. (still a work in progress c:)

My first town was going to originally be a pink theme but they it kinda turned into a natural but very developed and arranged and I'm planning my 2nd town to be similar but more overgrown but still arranged.

Moon theme! I use lilies (pink/white), roses (blue/pink/purple/gold) and violets (blue/purple/white), hydrangeas and a self-made star mosaic path.

My main town has a horror theme but it still has a ways to go because I haven't played New Leaf in months and I'm still planning some stuff out regarding QR codes and paths. None of the villagers are particularly frightening since everything is so cutesy, but I did what I could with what Nintendo provides us with. For example, I have Pietro since people are afraid of clowns. Cobb since he sorta looks like a zombie pig and because his house has mad scientist equipment. Ankha and Lucky cover the ancient Egyptian and mummy aesthetic, and Stitches is kind of like a Frankenstein's Monster.

I have another town that is bird-themed. There's not a whole lot of QR code stuff to do with that, but every villager in the town is a species of bird.

Finally, I got another cartridge earlier this year so I could hopefully acquire the last few villagers that I really like but who I couldn't keep in the other towns. I plan to make it a magic themed town, maybe with a little bit of a circus aspect. Tiffany is the main villager I want for the town because of the whole magic trick where you pull a rabbit out of a hat and because she's my second favorite rabbit, behind Coco. The potential circus aspect came to mind since Marcel is another villager I really want to get for the town.

Unfortunately that final town hasn't come to fruition yet because I haven't had much time to play lately and when I do, I haven't been able to get Rover to suggest a decent map that I can live with. Too many ponds, or rocks in terrible places. It's kind of discouraging, but eh, someday it'll work out.

Right now I don't really know what my theme is, but I'm gravitating towards making it more fairytale themed because that's my favorite building/PWP style. I have a ton of different rose hybrids everywhere so I don't really have flower color restrictions... It's really a mix of things, honestly. xD

Your towns sound awesome. I want to see a bird themed town! The birds don't get enough love in this game! I'd love to see a DA when you're done.

My town theme is just natural/overgrown forest. For the first time I'm not using paths at all and relying on dirt paths and trees to direct the flow of the town. I love playing the game this way so far! I think I was never good at designing/landscaping drawn paths so I never really liked the "look" of any of my previous towns.

My first town doesn't have a specific theme, it's just a hodgepodge of flowers and PWPs I like... there is a lot of trees up north, though, so I guess it's a bit foresty.

As for my second town, I'm aiming for a Christmas/winter theme. I will have villagers that look blue/white, and some that look like toys (Stitches, Kid Cat) to symbolize gifts.
I'll have a LOT of illuminated trees, and cedars where they can be placed.
For a flower theme, I'm aiming for blue/purple/white flowers, but this may change in the future.
These are just rough drafts, I'm sure my towns won't fit exactly to plan.

I describe my town as a "rural metropolis", and it's kind of my version of what a utopia would be. My second town is a perfect fruit orchard at the moment to farm for bells but once I'm done with that I'll either turn it into another happy little village or a professor layton themed town!

My main town is a memorial theme, since I made the town in honor of my bunny. So it has her "grave", rows of roses laid out like a rainbow and all rabbit villagers.

I'm currently working on my other three cartridges, and I have themes kind of loosely defined...just not quite sure how I'm going to landscape, which villagers to keep, etcetera.

I know one's going to have kind of an archeological vibe, and the other two are based off of locations in some of my favorite novels.

my main town is a work in progress, but becoming a zen town!
I just started on my second cartridge, but it's going to be fairy tale :)

My first town is just a natural, overgrown paradise with PWP scattered around and my second town, I'm planning to have a white and yellow themed town called Heaven. I'm really excited uwu

autumn/halloween theme, kinda run of the mill but i love it anyway. i don't know what theme i'll turn my cycling town into tho when i'm done with cycling.

My town is kind of a hodgepodge right now, I've been going with fairytale for stuff but it doesn't really match my villagers or anything else.

4 season/story book.

Farm

Retro cartoon/ all hamster ( two mice)

Critter town- A honey bee, Smokey the Bear, a frog, and cat.

Cherish is family themed. This one was really fun. The characters are family members. All dog town.

Newest town- Not complete. Anne of Green Gables, a Secret Garden, and Heidi.

I'm trying to get my town to be as close as Kyoto, Japan as I can. That means the forest of bamboo, koii, stone path-way, trees and colors of reds and their national fruit !

I haven't really thought of one... but I'm leaning towards a forest-type theme. There's flowers all over the place in hopes of getting pink roses/hybrids.

Mine's kinda foresty, but not SUPER foresty. I don't use mushrooms and clovers, but I do use a lot of trees, the log etc.
