What style town layouts do you like?

Nice thread! I like my town to have a secret island (so one you can't get to without swimming in a wetsuit in the ocean with) so that I can put flowers and tress on it, like a hidden resort! I do time travel a lot because I am impatient with the game otherwise lol :) Therefore I am not worries about villager housing placements, I make the rest of the town work around it (including paths) I like the bridges to be easily accessible and for all the shops (retail, brewsters cafe, town hall etc) to be in the same quater of the town: So all on one side of the bridge and preferably all on the left or right. However, I realise that that is getting a bit too wishful lol. I also prefer a town railway station (aka train station) to have either a greed, red or blue roof but not brown. I like the train to come in from the left (getting into the nitty gritty lol) because it means that it is a shorter trip getting into the station and lets face it, when your collecting items or villagers you want to get back to you town asap. I don't mind where my house is as long as it is convenient and I like having peaches as my town fruit simply because they are the best. :lemon:

Hidden island? You mean a beach with no slope? I had one of those in my previous town and I thought it was a cool feature my town had but I never used it haha. If you just landscape as you go, are you always landscaping then? Because randoms are moving in and theres no guarantee the next one will plot in the same space.
