What should they add in the next update?

Lots of qol improvements is what I'm hoping for besides returning features. Like crafting multiples of an item at once, crafting inside the home with materials in storage, a meter for tool health, having the touchscreen enabled for custom design editor, preventing the custom designs layed using the construction app from being easily removed by pressing Y.

It would be nice if they could fix the dialogue at the Airport, I'm constantly misclicking and I have to start all over again. It's annoying.

I want so much. I want to be able to craft multiple items at once, be able to access my storage when crafting inside-- like pull items from storage when crafting in my house without putting the items in my inventory (I doubt they'll bring this), I want to BUY MULTIPLE THINGS FROM THE ABLE SISTERS AT ONCE LIKE IF I WANT ALL THE COLORS OF BOWS LET ME DO IT IN ONE GO!!! I need some more fruits (bring back mangoes, lychee, lemons!!), bushes, perfect fruits, more stores (maybe a permanent store for kicks and labelle again-- unless labelle words under her sisters), the CAFE!! I'm too excited because I just want all of this so bad lmao. also... dream suite??? or something similar. it's crazy how they didn't include this in the original game since it's SO popular and a fantastic concept but I guess it would make sense kinda since with the welcome amiibo update for NL they reset all DA (maybe they ran out of space or something?? idk how this stuff is stored) and the only people who could use the dream suite would need online-- but I feel like that would just push more people to pay for online so idk why they haven't implemented it yet.

edit: oh yeah, more exterior housing options, NH is severely lacking imo.

Fix the tools. There should be no recipes for gold tools. Gold tools should be special and given once when you earn them.
Bring back borrowed tools when you visit an island. In ACNL tools were never taken to the island. You borrowed them and those ones didn't break.

In future updates I would like to see:
- museum expansion for paintings and sculptures
-Cyrus and Reese opening a shop so we can get alternative colors for items from Nook Miles and Nook Cranny
- Gracie and her furniture shop back maybe as the 3rd upgrade to the shop
-Brewsters and the cafe
- ocean swimming
- optional buildings like the post office and police station

I would also like but don’t really expect to happen are more new villagers, new villager species, new personalities

if not trees, then please just let flowers/plants stack up in the inventory and let me put them in the storage. i'm getting sick and tired of digging them up and having to sell them when i'm doing some landscaping/redisgning.

Which characteristics, functions, villagers and / or objects do you want to be added in the next update 2.0?
Ex: I want the specials villagers unlockeables with other Nintendo series amiibos (Wolf Link, Ganon, Epona, Inkwell, etc) from New Leaf.

Increase villager limit to 16 since the map can't be expanded. Get rid of the one island per switch. That alone would make this game a solid 8 out of 10 for me. It currently sitting at a solid 6 out of 10. Bring back gyroid, art, roost, and etc... but they can bring it back gradually as long as its coming.

I'm pretty new to the series, and New Horizon's is my first game, so I apologize ahead of time if this was already said before.
But I really really wish there was more you could do with friends! When we visit each other's islands, it usually is just for checking each other's shops or trading items. I wish we could do fun visitor-things like minigames, fishing contests, bidding on doing activities, hide n' seek, tag, etc. I really wish there was just...more to do with friends when you visit each other in-game.

I got a few:

- New/Returning Villagers
- Pier Expansion, so more shops can be added.
- A collection of unbreakable tools I like to call "Arcane Tools". Which can be obtained by either Farley/Serena (I hope Farley returns) when you obtain a 5-Star town.
- A storage locker and ABD in the Airport
- Ability to store your Turnips and DIY recipes in your storage.

since the next it's surely gardening based I want back dandelions as weeds
then some new trees and flowers specifically I wish for ginkgo trees (love their leaves want craftable recipes for them but this is fall related ) and spider lilies
for summer don't know I'm not a fan of diving but starfish with recipe items could be cute also tanabata tree recipe since we already have bamboo
but I want more customization for the houses exeriors like roofs doors and walls shapes (villagers have already a great selection they could simply use the same itemes and textures )

for gyroids and paintings they'll come back for sure

This is my first Animal Crossing game and I don't know much about previous games but I am a bit disappointed that only two shops have been added so far. It's fun to talk to NPCs like Label, Flick, Kicks, etc. but I think I would prefer it if some of them stayed on my island permanently because I really like interacting with a whole community of characters.

I would also like to be able to interact more with my villagers, such as being able to sit in the plaza and eat a sandwich/donut or exercise with them. It would also be nice to have get-togethers or events that all NPCs and villagers could participate in, such as campfire nights or dinner parties. I don't think I've ever seen Blathers outside the museum but I would like to see him interact with more of the island than just the building he's locked to. This goes for other NPCs too like Isabelle, Timmy and Tommy, Mabel and Sable, etc.

I also have a few UX concerns regarding not being able to craft more than one item at a time as well as not being able to buy more than 1 and less than 5 items from the shop. I would also like to be able to tell the durability of my tools and I would absolutely love it if they added sounds to custom paths.

Regardless, I like the game very much and I'm excited for future updates!

Multicrafting, unbreakable golden tools, the ability to purchase more than one type of clothing item in the dressing room.

I would really like alternate language symbol support in the English release... (Typing in hangul, hiragana+katakana+kanji, etc...)

I have Japanese friends but I have to type things awkwardly in romaji since I don't have the support, but don't want the entire game's language to be in Japanese...

(If there is actually a way to enable alternate keyboards outside of switching the entire game's language, I wasn't aware!)

Option to turn music off. Anything that keeps repeating triggers my migraines. Not saying I don't like the music just want to be able to turn it off sometimes. Need the volume on for hearing bugs, fish, balloons and so on.
Have a city island we can travel to added with shops that were in city folk. I like the main island kept tropical and not busy but would like a place to travel to with shops. Add some new ones too.

I'm hoping they add some DIYs for fence hedges, perhaps with different flowers with Earth Day's update.

If I'm not mistaken, the original Animal Crossing had the ability to add up to 15 villagers... I'd really like it if the cap was 15, too! I'm not totally sure why future games never had that number again and why it was weeded down to only 10, but for myself, it would certainly help with not being able to pick only 10 without a lot of self-debate... I'd like to read about the reasoning.

The island is way too small for 16 villagers. The fact it lets you have 8 players and 10 villagers is pretty questionable, since New Horizon's island is only 6 acres larger than New Leaf's towns. 12 would be more reasonable, though.
