I want to get another copy of the game (digital) but 1) I don't have the $20 on my 3DS, 2) there's no way my mom would buy me another copy with christmas around the corner and because i already have the game, and 3) I have no giftcards left

Ask your mom if she can buy you the copy with her credit card and you can pay her back in cash :0 I always do that when I'm buying things online since I don't have a card either
