So a lot of my friends on here and I have taken up New Leaf again for the summer, you know new seasons new beginnings and all of that
My town is basically done so there isn't really much more I can do with it. I don't want to erase it and start a new file because I've had this one since like July 15, 2013 and I intend to have all this memory

So currently I keep rewinding the date to stay on April 10, which is arguable the best looking day of the Animal Crossing year, but I think if I play on today's current date, I could get more out of this game and have a better time and most likely stick with it longer.

However I have 9 Villagers at the moment so I am expecting a random move in at any time. I have all 4 of my characters in heavy use so plotting is basically not possible at this point.

So my questions to all of you are:
1. Should I play on April 10th for the rest of the summer or play current date:
2. Should I just allow that random villager and hope for the best spot? is there anything I can do to avoid that?:
3. Is it worth possibly loosing a villager, bad plotting on my flowers, no tan, bad hair, etc?:
4. Should I sell most of my IGB so I can earn my own from now on to make the game more fun?:

Just tell me your honest opinions cuz it'll all help me out, thank you!!

1. Should I play on April 10th for the rest of the summer or play current date: I'd say it's up to you, especially considering your current villager scenario, but I try to never linger in one time too much in my town since it feels too stale if I do, so I'd say play the rest of the summer out.
2. Should I just allow that random villager and hope for the best spot? is there anything I can do to avoid that?: Er.... I mean, if you can, try to plot them, but if you can't, then you'll have to hope for the best. I've had villagers plot in literally the worst spots in my town; but they'll eventually move out and you can fix the landscape again, given enough time. Besides, if they do destroy stuff, getting them to move and repairing the damages will give you something to do this summer.
3. Is it worth possibly loosing a villager, bad plotting on my flowers, no tan, bad hair, etc?: It depends, but I'd say yes. All of those things can be fixed easily, except for loosing a villager, but I don't really care much about the villagers in my town, so it doesn't really bother me. If it's a dreamie you spent forever trying to get and you spent a lot on them, then don't. But again, it'll give you something to do this summer.
4. Should I sell most of my IGB so I can earn my own from now on to make the game more fun?: If you're wanting more TBT, and you have the patience, then yes. Earning Bells in-game makes the game a lot more fun, since you have to actually work hard to get the things you want.

Thank you very much Lucanosa for your reply! Helps a lot. Good answers.

Update: I just asked Freya to move to my town. This way I won't have anyone random moving in and I can expect Freya. Lets hope for the best. I will be moving Day by day until someone asks to leave and I can say no, then I will move to todays date! Will keep you guys update most likely. But feel free to continue to answer the questions so I don't back out haha

Update 2: FREYA MOVED INTO AN OK SPOT. :)
Thanks Alexi!

What I would do, is I would play on April 10th until someone on the forums is selling a villager I would like. I would let the villager move in then skip to the current date.
