What should I do?

Alright, so I'm kinda stuck...
I need to time travel to both Halloween and the Harvest Festival to get some items. However... I have 6/10 of my dreamies. I REALLY need these items and nobody is selling them at all, so that means I need to get them myself. However... My town is in April. I'd need to time travel all the way to the end of November. I'm afraid of losing my dreamies, but I need the items. What should I do? I won't TT straight to it, I'd TT like 3 days at a time, since I don't know any ways to do it faster and to keep my villagers from leaving. I dunno. What do I do? >_<

You can TT day by day until you get a ping from a villager that wants to move. Once you reject their proposal you can TT as far as you'd like and your villagers will all be there ^^

get a time traveler to do it for you. Or maybe ask a person who has a cycle town?

If you want to make sure not to lose a dreamie you'd have to time travel every day and talk to your villagers and see who wants to move out each day, which would take forever to get to October from April!

I personally wouldn't risk my dreamies time travelling 7 months for items it would be so risky! But it's completely up to you

I say do it but be careful. Sure you can try to get someone with a cycle town to get the items for you, but in the meanwhile you can slowly TT forward so you can get those items yourself if no one else is willing.

I personally wouldn't risk my dreamies time travelling 7 months for items it would be so risky! But it's completely up to you

It would be from April to November, and once I'm done, I'd just TT backwards to April again ~

Sadly, I don't think anyone is willing. I've made threads about it with no responses sadly, so really the only way is to get them myself :c

If you decline a request to move, you can immediately make a big jump. I don't recall the exact mechanics of it, but this is how I safely leave my game alone when I quit playing for the school year. I've never lost a dreamie this way despite months and months of absence, and just a few days ago I used it to TT out of winter because I was bored of snow.

You should ask somebody to time travel and get them for you. It's never a good idea to time travel more than two days at a time.

Have you checked the Train Station board? It could be that there are others out there who are currently in autumn and would let you visit. Given how many dreamies you have, it might not be worth taking the risk, though if you can find a method of safely TT'ing, maybe you can pull it off.

TT'ing backwards, no matter how many days, always counts as one day. So TT back is no problem, but I would TT a day forward at a time until you find someone that wants to move. Decline the move, save, quit, and TT forward to whatever time you need

Well it seems like you're getting a lot of feedback from both sides. Personally, I'm taking this town with a no TT stance. So far I'm liking it, since I can very carefully plan out where everything and everyone goes in my town. Of course, it's torture waiting for the items I really want. However, you may find that with time your idea of how you want things to be in your home will change. How long have you wanted the Halloween and Harvest Festival items? If it's been less than a few days, maybe give it a little more time before you start skipping. You might find that you like a different style instead in the mean time. If this is what you've wanted for a long time and is essential to your theme, then TT forward with caution, no more than 4 days at most, a few more if you've had a character pinged you and you've declined their request to move.

This is a good idea too. TT backwards to when you need to go and slowly TT forward to current time.
