So I got this new Animal Crossing New Leaf game...
And I have no idea what to do.

Should I start a cycle town? I could make money and have villagers go to a loving home but I would have to work feverishly and my town would become a disaster. I've also never done a cycling town before.

Or should I embark on a new journey, a new regular town? I could do the things correctly that I did wrong in my original town, but I would also have to play 2 games a day, go through things I've already done and I would never know what cycling is like.

I have no idea what to do. What would you do?

just play the game the way it's supposed to be played and you'll be fine :P

My suggestion would be to cycle until you get bored of it and then restart and play normally.

hmmm.... maybe start it as a cycling town to be able to help some people get dreamies while at the same time earning lots of bells, then after you've had enough, you can turn it into a normal town....?

or maybe just start it as a regular town!

I'd start a new town. It's something I've been pondering about lately. I must say it certainly sounds like a good idea to have a fresh start. The decision is up to you when it comes down to it.

I say start with a normal town straight away, unless you have a friend who can save money and items for you.

I would try cycling first cos when you start a real town you'll not be able to then try cycling, unless you buy a second copy of the game. Or delete your town, which I'm guessing you won't want to do.
I'm trying cycling atm, and I've found its much easier to start a whole new game over and over till you see a villager/s that are popular and restarting again once you've traded them.

I'd say go regular, just so you could get a good feel of what living in a "normal" town is like.

i think a temporary cycling town could be cool, then you could start a regular town when your bored with it! i might start a cycling town on my other copy, then restart when ive given away some villagers :)

Honestly, unless you plan on putting a lot of boring work into your cycling town, I'd say start a new regular town.
Cycling takes forever & it's not fun at all, so you rly have to think about whether you'd want to put that much effort in.

I would start a regular town and play the game, and if you get bored of that after a while, then you should start a cycling town.

I'd imagine you'd get bored quickly with a cycling town without having a regular town to offset the tedium.

I agree with doing a temporary cycling town. Do it until you don't want to any more, or get bored, then start a new town. So, both options? :p

You could try a cycling town and see if you like it. Than try a regular town.

I just added another new town. It's not set in the same month and the clock is on a different time.
My main town still gets played the most. This time around I'm letting the villagers come and go. It's nice to see new faces all the time. Play the new town more relaxed and skip a day if I need to.
