I lost Lolly a week ago on accident, and now today I lost ROSIE
should I 16 cycle?
should I reset?
cry to sleep?
I'm on 9 villagers (1 that I do not want but need for PwP) so I would have two slots I could cycle through possibly 3 i'm willing to lose Ankha.. :(

Just reset. Trust me. You do NOT want to cycle 16. It takes far more effort than it's worth.

don't sweat it
just chill out and have some nice cool refreshing orange juice
or any juice if you prefer
water is a nice substitute
after your nice drink, think through it thoroughly and make your final decision

This happened to me....I lost Goldie (my favourite since...forever lmao) and then Bob (also one of my favourites who was in my original Wild World town)...I'm so upset....

It all really depends on your town, though. I've been working on the same town since 2013, so no way am I resetting. If you're willing to sacrifice your town, and your villagers, then I say just reset...

personally, i would reset. unless you're REALLY attached to your map and/or if you've made a lot of progress generally on your town. one 16 villager cycle is bad enough, but keeping track of two sounds like a nightmare to me, and i did it for the same villager twice. it's awful, lol.

if you reset, you obviously don't have to worry about that. you also have a chance at getting a better map if you're finding flaws in your current one, a different fruit, etc etc etc.

ahh true, it's just every villager in my town is a dreamie and i bought from TBT ;_; + I sort of love my map but 16 cycling for two villagers sounds like hell, if I were to reset should i cycle for my dreamies or buy them all again? ;_;

i mean I could also just choose 2 other villagers, but i don't know. I'm thinking this because I DO have another town it's a cycling town but eventually i want to make it a town-- Rosie and Bob have been through there though.... lol

If you reset, I'd be happy to work with you on getting your dreamies back. It would take a couple days, but I can get you Rosie and Lolly fairly quickly.

same i've had mine since 2013 and idk some of my villagers were sooooo hard to get and i do not really feel like putting thought or time into another town as much as i did mine.

ommggg thank you so much, i'm highly considering it.

Well whatever your choice, good luck!
If you need any help with holding items, etc, just VM me or something ^-^

I guess it depends how much effort you've put into the rest of the town. I have to admit I reset after I lost Lolly, though! But I'd grown kind of bored at that point anyway, so I appreciated the fresh start.

Have you had Mitzi in your town? I love her almost as much as Lolly!

Yes actually when Lolly accidently moved away I got Mitzi right away, idk Rosie was in a very awkward spot. I'm thinking maybe since I have a cycling town I could maybe settle with other villagers in my main town and then turn my cycle town into the town with my dreamies? Lol if that makes any sense. Just because I do not think I have the patience for all the sets/IGB/upgrades etc but then again people are offering to help, ahhhh im torn >_<

i think it'll probably be a little hard either way, unfortunately. but on the plus side, you can always ask someone to hold your sets/some or all of your igb while you reset and thatd at least take care of that aspect. plus there's a bunch of cyclers that I'm sure would be willing to help you get all your villagers back -- me included :-)

as for the 16 villager cycle, I usually vote against it myself just bc of how exhausting it was for me, but it IS doable. if you're willing to keep track of everyone that moves out and spend all that time, it may be a better option for you.

I think i'll just fill my town with other dreamies or something because I already have a peppy and normal and I can use my other town once it's done to get Rosie and Lolly, that way I can keep Ankha and get Rudy and Purrl. Thank you everyone for helping me out. I may change my mind again though haha

Reseting is always fun- fresh start, new layout, new villagers.

But, if you really love your town and have put a lot into it, the cycling out process is time-consuming but not difficult. I recently tried to get Marshal to move out of a different town and it definitely took a while (and I failed to get him out) BUT I got more than 17 villagers to move in/move out during that time span. I say, it all depends on the town.

If it were me, I would probably reset just because I'm restless and like to do that every now and then :)

How are you losing them, sweetie? Are you time traveling or just not playing very much? Seems like cycling through sixteen would be very time consuming. If you are not passionately attached to the villagers you have remaining, I would suggest resetting and starting fresh. Good luck!

I've lost a few villagers and I just moved on from them. I didn't think it was worth resetting over. However, if they're dreamies and they're villagers you want to keep forever, I reckon reset and try to get them back. Plus, you get to redecorate your town XD
