What series are you currently watching?

I started watching Beavis and Butt-Head today. I'll admit that the first few episodes are pretty weak, but there's still some funny and entertaining moments.

I know this post is old, but I came across a trailer randomly the other day about this show's revival. I didn't even know it had one and seeing the clips of them being in their early 50s and still being the ne'er-do-well's they were in the original show was kind of funny. Didn't actually watch the episode, but was still entertained

Just finished rewatching Murder, She Wrote! Moving on to The Magician with Bill Bixby. It’s so terrible it’s great. He’s a magician who casually escaped from a South American prison and now LIVES on a private jet and solves mysteries. And it boasts that Bixby does his own tricks in the series haha!

Started watching The Institute with my husband; not an amazing show but not bad either

Also last night I started watching The Great (by myself), I cannot wait to watch more!!

I just finished watching Adolescence on the recommendation of someone at work and I just want to jump on a plane back to England, shut my little brother in his room and keep him safe from the dangers of the internet lol. That was a difficult watch, but also incredibly moving and powerful.

Sorry this was my 'return post' but I had to tell somebody about this lmao.

I caught up on some of the latest episodes of Miraculous Ladybug. We do not have cable or satellite in my household, but we do have some streaming services, including Disney+, so I have to wait for the episodes to release there.

I just watched season two of Wednesday and I'm going to start Squid Game very soon! I already spoiled the entire plot for myself but I don't care :3

I started to rewatch parts of Clone Wars. It's a really good show that doesn't shy away from showing how brutal war really is. I'm currently watching the Umbara arc and that's probably one of my favorite arcs/episodes if not top 10. I never got around to fully watching the Disney+ exclusive season, but it was difficult to finish that arc where Ahsoka was babysitting two sisters. They just kept doing the dumbest things and that arc was torture lol.

I don't know if I would enjoy Bad Batch or not. The Clone Wars arc they were in didn't really impress me. It felt a bit too over the top with showing the elite soldier's skills and had a very Saturday morning cartoon vibe to it.

as of recent, i watched wednesday season 2 part 1 and part 2.

Spoiler: some thoughts CONTAINS SPOILERS.

i that thought season two was better than season one but the writing could have been a little better. this isn’t exclusive to s2 but i can think of some instances where the writing was kind of lazy; they write stuff in/off for convenience.

for example, the big ending plot twist in part one. wednesday gets thrown out a window during the standoff with tyler leading into part two. however, once part two rolls out, her being a coma is solved within 10 minutes of the show.

i’m not saying she should have been in a coma for longer but there should have been more aftermath. like why aren’t mortica and gomez pissed? their daughter was literally on death’s door step. the only person who really gets mad is enid but that’s sort of forgotten about too because she agrees to be bait

people do get mad at wednesday but not mad enough as they should be.

on a side note - tyler’s actor was amazing in this. also kind of wish thing had more screen time but i liked how he was tied into the ending.

Started watching Stath Lets Flats recently.. not usually a fan of british comedy but this show is pretty funny!! I love the intro especially because of how dumb it is

I finally pushed myself to finish the Clone War series, granted I only had a few episodes left. The arc before that was very poorly written and almost turned me off from wanting to finish the series, but I'm glad I decided to try it again. It was a very good way to send off the series. I don't think I will watch Bad Batch and if I do it will be at a much later time.
