What rooms are in your house?

Okay, so I need inspiration for the top room on the ground floor in my house.

I currently have my main room (living room), left room (kitchen), right room (bathroom/laundry room), upstairs (bedroom), and basement (trophy hall). All rooms are 8x8.

So what rooms do ya'll have?

(main) is the cabin - the bed
(right) idk yet its the ice set but i dont really like it so its all junky
(basement) is the chess set
(back)is a bug weeding room
(up) kitchen
and im starting a secound house that has the gorgeous set as the liven room

Lots of people have cafes, classrooms, spas, candy shops, etc. etc. Really, I guess it depends on your town theme/house theme. From your rooms' descriptions, maybe a library/study or a dining room (if your kitchen has mostly kitchen-things).

Up - town room/villager pic room (making a room that looks like my town map or ill just give up and put pics of all villager past/present in there)
Left - idk used to be a cafe but moving to my new alts house

2nd Floor: Gorgeous series, With golden house model, computer and 4 music boxes
Basement: Varies, currently the Pave series but used to be snowman series
Left: Sleek room with a flat screen tv, Museum frame with a Jacques pic, Piano, Drums.
Right: Kitchen with the 711 series minus bellpoint (in main room)
Back: Sapphirized blue series with custom design, Katie items, laptop and cabana radio

In my main room I have a villager photo room. I used the lunar horizon wall and cloud flooring and put all the pictures I got (well, most of them) on display cases Just to show them off somehow. They're also scattered around my house.
Left--princess series and anything I think goes with the theme
Right--my "asian" themed room. I love this stuff--so pretty! I've got the modern wood series with the cherry blossom clock, zodiac horse, bamboo, etc in there
Back--my kitchen! I used candy gingham to remodel the alpine series (dark wood). It's very cozy
Upstairs--remodeled rococco series, 'cause I love it so much
Basement--treasure room. Some of the special characters' pics, trophies, etc. I used the gold wall, still waiting on the gold floor. Throne, etc.

Main Room -Polka Dot room that doubles as study/leisure room (e.g. coffee cup on table, which also has a laptop for mayoral things, as well as the TV.)

Right Room - Alpine Room

Back Room - Ice Room

Left Room - Used to the Mush Room (with more nature themes) but is now a Pave room and I'm not sure what it's 'gimmick' will be.

Upstairs - Sleek Room.

Basement - Not themed in particular, but it's designed to be a gamer's room (e.g. flat-screen TV with Wii Fit board, couch and chairs, snacks on the table behind the couch, vending machines, a computer, Nintendo items like the Super Mushroom etc.)

Back room: music room/tea room/library (main focus is a white piano, minimalist furniture mixed with customized alpine, weeding day items too)
Basement: villager photo room.. I have some random pieces of mermaid furniture there as well

Maybe a music room or library would work for your house.. ^_^

One of my houses is a restaurant (ground floor rooms, kitchen, two themed restaurants) and spa (basement) and the attic room is that characters living quarters.

one of my other houses is going to be a cute-themed and clothing place? so one room has a lot of clothes displayed and sofas, as if it was a store, another room is an arcade room.

My main house is just stuff that is my favorite with no kitchen or bathroom, just my favorite themes in each room. ^_- so I'm not super planned I guess.

Main room: Rococo series/living room
Left room: Kitchen. Not very happy with it though, might scrap.
Right room: Lovely series/bedroom
Back room: Mermaid series. Moving to my other character's house after she's fully expanded. Not sure what to do after that.
Top room: Currently villager pics and cardboard series. Making another alternate character purely for picture storage so those will be going there. Gonna put the Princess series up here and make it my new bedroom.
Basement: Game room.


Alt Character 1:
Main room: Currently Pave series
Left and right room: One will be a mermaid room. Not sure about the other. Picture storage maybe?
Back room: Backyard!
Upstairs: Isabelle's apartment! I got to thinking, "where the heck does she live?". So she gets a studio apartment in this characters house. I'm gonna pamper her.
Basement: Dunno yet.


Alt Character 2: This will be the "community" house- not conventional rooms, set up like businesses and such!
Main room: Undecided. Maybe a spa?
Left and right rooms: Going to make one a classroom. One will be a general store! So excited for the general store. I have so many plans.
Back room: Gym.
Upstairs: Restaurant
Basement: "Play Area" Basically a toy room.

And the last alt character will have four rooms of picture storage and an undecided main/upstairs theme.

Upstairs: astro set (blue and black) along with other sci-fi looking stuff like the glowing monitors, aurora screen, etc etc
Downstairs: mermaid set (what little I have of it -.-)
