Kalos is my fave!! The new Pokes are amazing and I love that Kalos is like France xD
Buut I really like Johto and Hoenn too, cause Silver and Emerald were the first games I played and I have all sorts of silly memories of myself and my sister when we were younger and played them c:

I voted a long time ago, but didn't actually post.

Johto. I've been playing since the 1st Gen, but I thought the first games were kinda boring, even as a kid. Then G/S came out and I immediately loved it. Everything just seemed right. Johto made me really love Pokemon.

And when I went back in HG/SS, it was everything I remembered and better. Ecruteak City is still one of my favorite places in the Pokemon games.

Definitively Hoenn! English is not my first language, so I was too young to really understand what was going on when I played in Kanto and Johto (I definitively enjoyed the games! I just had to use a bunch of guides for practicaly everything and never really understood what was going on). Hoenn was the first game I played with a decent enough level of english to actualy get what was happening just a little bit, plus I LOVE most of the pokemon designs from that gen, the idea of there being two oposing teams fighting to... "Make the world better but actualy destroy it in the process", its the first region with Pokemon sprites that are acurately colored and proportioned AND the Pokemon Contest where super fun!

Kanto! My first game was Pokemon yellow and it seems to be the only region where I can remember the pokedex. I get the Hoenn/Sinnoh dexes mixed up. Also Butterfree will always be my favorite Pokemon.

What Pok?mon Region would you be from if the Pok?mon World was real? So basically what region would you have grown up in and began your very own journey in?

For myself, I would definitely be a Hoenn girl. despite many people hating all the water routes, Emerald was my first game so I'm used to it. In fact, it's all the other games that feel like they have very little water to me. I have the map memorized almost to a T, and I always have this special feeling when I play or see anything Hoenn related. I also often get random tracks from this region stuck in my head out of the blue, from the Littleroot Town music to the bike, etc.

From this you can obviously guess that I am super excited for the new remakes to come out in November of Ruby and Sapphire! Squee!

I also started out with Emerald (yes I had blue, gold, crystal, but my brother wouldn't let me play/finish them) so yeah Hoenn is very special to me ^^

I have not restarted my Emerald to this day. Mainly because of cloning legends to X/Y to manipulate the GTS, but I still have everyone's secret base from 9 years ago.

Same, I'm a Johto trainer, too. I know the area like the back of my hand, AND it's connected with ANOTHER region! The only thing is that I didn't have Silver; I had SoulSilver to train and play on. Lugia is my all time favorite Pok?mon, too (not just Legendary ), so the region has that going for it as well. You're also right that it had a fantastic storyline. For me, it's just a little better than the Unova storyline.

Well, since I'd want to be near Lavender Town, I'd have to be from Kanto.

Well, the first game I played (not counting ones I played on an emulator forever ago) was Diamond, so I voted Sinnoh.
