I just got to that point with my first town too. You could try finding people online to play with or focus on maxing out your friendship with your villagers.
Do you use paths? Maybe you could change them up and redecorate. Or you can buy a second copy and start a new town (assuming you still want to keep your current town, that is).
--have you achieved all gold badges?
--completed the catalog with all re-orderable and non-reorderable items?
--collected every villager picture, and special character picture?
--have you snagged every gyroid in your catalog?
--and every kind of letterhead?
--every KK Slider song?
--achieved perfect town status?
--obtained all gold tools?
--grown every hybrid flower?
--obtained every perfect fruit?
--did you learn every joke from Dr. Shrunk and receive his jacket as a gift??
--collecting each kind of wetsuit?
--snap a photo of your mayor wit hevery character and villager in the game?
--unlocked all PWPs?
--earned all the HHA prizes?
--did you get the lost items dropped by villagers?
--did you collect every single type of mushroom?
--did you get all the fortune cookie fortune/items?
--did you get all the fossil models?
--did you get all the tree stump patterns?
--snag the unorderable stationery sets?
hmm, i'm sure there's even more...
I agree. There's always so much to do. I would really want to finish getting my dreamies, and finish landscaping so I can play the game normally without time traveling. I want to collect all the fishes and bugs. Try to collect as many bells as possible to get 100% catalogued! There's always lots to do!
Another thing is you can create a 2nd character and decorate a new house? Or update the decoration in the house with seasonal themes?
