Yeah sorry didn't see the last part, but I like how you could donate to other players in the gamecube version. Related to bells, I think they should bring the credit card back from City Folk.

That's covered in the contacts app! They will wait for you for at least 30 seconds (if outside) before wandering off again! They will tell you which bldg. they're in if they're inside one! (i.e "I'm at Able Sisters doing some shopping! Wanna join?" kinda indicator!)

Yeah, but I'd prefer moving dots on a map, instead of freezing them for a while. It might help with catching villager conversations too

I have several ideas! Well, not original, probably but here's what I thought up of:

Contacts app: While this is pretty much Bestfriends App, it will call your villagers instead. You may have a prompt to invite them to your house (since they don't ask you to visit anymore) or ask them where they are and they'll wait for you for at least 30 seconds before wandering off again! (this isn't applicable if they're in a building. they'll just tell you which building they're in) This is pretty much a megaphone.

Calendar app: It will show the date, weather and birthdays of your villagers! In case there's a meteor shower, the weather will have a star under the current weather. The birthday will show you the villager's preferred style so no more guessing! (the birthday part will not tell you any more other than that so no spoilers!)

Settings app: Will let you change volume of the game's ambiance/music. Finally you can hear your radio!

K.K. Tunes - A portable radio! Tired of listening to the hourly music? Now you can listen to K.K Slider's music without having to AFK near your radio! You can also toggle between aircheck and live so you can hear KK sing without waiting for a Saturday! (this app will only play the songs you registered)

ABD Online: An ABD app that allows you to withdraw bells anywhere! Indoors, outdoors or someone else's island! You can also pay your house loan with it too!
With a neat feature of transferring bells to another players (it will have 3 window prompts to make sure that you have option to back out in case you input the wrong amount or felt to change it if you decide to back down your offer) it updates in real time so no worries about people saying "to wait until it reflects to your account" scams*.

* The latter feature of the ABD idea is debatable but would be helpful if you're going to pay the seller more than 4mil bells. (It can do without the thing tho.)

What do you think? What apps would you like to see? I think the ABD app idea needs improvement but I really would like to withdraw bells anywhere...

They need to make a “megaphone” / find my villagers app ASAP bc I’m so tired of searching my entire island and then every room in the museum for one smol villager

ABD, Contacts, and an Airport app are the ones I'd love to see the most. What would be really interesting is, if in addition to being able to close your gates from a distance, if you could get a list of who is currently on your island and a map showing where they are.

The problem is the minimap is too small for that. You might have to pull out your map app in order to find the villager icon. But I guess a glowing red dot at the minimap would do but you might need to toggle the minimap to "always on" if you want to follow the dot.

I think the Find Villager feature needs more polishing due to how absurdly small the minimap is.

Yes! I think it's a popular idea that we can have indicators for guest players! This will also to keep track if the guest player is actually doing their intended reason to go to your island. (to prevent scammers)! Would be nice imo!

Yeah, I can imagine scammers. "I'm going shopping at Nook's!" But then you see on your map that they're nowhere near Nook's - they're over by items you'd left out accidentally raiding it.

The fact that we've never been able to see where others are without following them around in AC is why I don't like having more than 1 visitor at once. Paranoia, I guess.

i love all of these ideas! nintendo needs to implement these rn!! my favorite is the contacts app, it would be so so useful if there was a way to contact our villagers and ask them for their location so we're not running around aimlessly looking for them haha
