what movie/tv show can you rewatch a million times and never get sick of?

I discovered Are You Afraid of the Dark a few years ago (my TV always showed Goosebumps), and I have to say…it might be better than Goosebumps. I found some of the stories more captivating for some reason.
I agree! The stories often feel a bit more eerie and atmospheric compared to Goosebumps and R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour. I think it’s the darker, more serious tone that sets it apart. Which episodes or stories stood out to you the most?

The one where a kid gets sucked into a computer game and is in some weird medieval fantasy court?

Also, the ones with the clown, the basement monster, and the girl turning into a doll. Oh! And the old lady neighbor who turned out to be a ghost.

I enjoyed watching all those ones! It's hard to pick just one favorite since they all have such a unique way of creeping under your skin.

I'd say I've watched Up enough times that it counts! I've never not enjoyed re-watching it. 🏠🎈💖

For shows, definitely Abbott Elementary, Mom, and Dinosaurs. They’re probably my top three shows, so it makes sense.
For movies, I’d say Barbie, Turning Red, and Zootopia. Especially on planes. I’ve rewatched Us quite a few times, too.

I think the movie I've seen the most is Holes... I would watch it every time it came on as a kid and every time I'd understand more of it. It still really clicks for me as an adult and I find it really endearing and nostalgic and think the themes of exploitation and the unfairness of the justice system are portrayed really well for something that's meant to be watched by kids. I also believe it has the greatest line delivery of any movie ever made. I also watch Ponyo all the time it's definitely my comfort movie!

As for tv shows I used to have Schitt's Creek playing on a constant loop in the background whenever I was hanging out in my room until they took it off Netflix but I miss it and will probably start streaming it again on Hulu or whatever it's on now

- Nope .
The movie is about an extraterrestrial in an animal form, which could be more realistic than our casual gray alien extraterrestrials that everybody seems to see whenever you hear about an alien story of an encounter. Could never get tired of this movie because it is about extraterrestrials which is one of my extreme hyper fixations.
- Midsommar .
Midsomer is about a girl, Danny and her boyfriend with a couple of his friends going to Sweden and encountering a quote and it messes with your head throughout the whole movie and you could see them slowly disappear and lose their mind. I feel like if you’re into psychological horror, movies that this would definitely be a way to go because it is also a a24 film. I could rewatch this as many times and not get sick of it because I like psychological horror and it is one of my favorite movie genres.
- Avatar movie series .
The best way I can put this is about a guy named jig Sully taking the place of his marine twin brother who passed away and goes to Pandora and eventually find the Navi and you can see throughout the movie how the Navy had impacted him in the climax, moving forward, which is really a good movie series. It’s a super well-thought-out movie series and I would definitely recommend it to anybody who is really into cinematography in movies.
- Valerie and her week of wonders .
This movie is pretty controversial because it’s a check 1970s movie but it’s about a 13-year-old girl Valerie and her journey to self discovery and being exposed to non-innocence. The movie is quite beautiful because obviously the cinematography outstanding for a 1970s check film but overall I feel like the moral behind. The movie is so beautiful because early teens usually go through the self-discovery and I feel like they showed it pretty raw and realistic. I actually bought this movie because of how beautiful the moral and the cinematography is of it. I would definitely recommend and I rewatch it often.
- The Goldfinch .
This story is about a boy named Theodore Decker who loses his mom at a bombing at a art museum and you can see his journey from a young age and his adult age and how he tends to cope with her passing and I think it’s a very beautiful movie. I don’t think I can ever get tired of that movie because it’s been my favorite movie for about five or six years. That said I even own the book and I would definitely recommend the movie to anybody who is into drama /Indie? films.

There’s other shows and movies that if I were to look through everything I would have a longer paragraph but they’re pretty much sums everything up. If you ever watch any of the movies let me know because I wanna see your thoughts on it! :3

The anime Mushi-shi is exceptionally beautiful and calming despite having the cruelty of nature on full display. There's just something about it that's easy to revisit. There's also a lesser known anime called Aria about 3 girls training to be gondoliers in a replicated Venice on a terraformed Mars that always calms me down and reminds me to look at the beauty of the world. The film The Tale of Princess Kaguya dies the same for me as well. I think having beautiful music really helps.

If a show is episodic it really helps because I can just click on a random episode like this and enjoy it without needing to have watched the entire series up to that point.

I think it really depends on my mood and what I feel like watching. I could probably watch Back to the Future plenty of times, but probably not more than once a year or maybe twice. I also like Bob's Burgers since a lot of the episodes can be very sweet and wholesome, which so many adult animations steer clear from. It's so refreshing to see that instead of the hatred in shows like Family Guy, Rick and Morty and so forth.

Every autumn it's time for Over the Garden Wall and The Nightmare Before Christmas singalongs!
And The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers and King of the Hill have gotten a lot of rewatches from me.

TV Show:
- Hilda
- Kimi to Boku
- Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie
- Moomin
- The Sarah Jane Adventures

Tokyo Godfathers is a good one! I randomly caught that movie when it was being streamed by a webcomic artist I checked from time to time. And I happened across some stream they were doing for Christmas. I didn't catch the whole thing cause I had to go to my aunt's, but when I figured out what the name was I watched on int my own. It's a really good movie.

I think it's the main characters that attract me to this film so much.
It's such an interesting concept to focus on homeless people, which I don't think if focused that much in Japan's society.
Getting to see people who became homeless on their own actions or none at all.

Then you add a baby into the mix, and the mystery starts. Action becomes chaos, and the religious and spiritual stuff, such a good movie.
Also love a lot of Satoshi Kon's films, it's a shame he was never able to make anymore before he passed.
