What method are you using for villager photos?

I give stacks of wrapped foreign fruit, but only when I'm trying for photos. After that, I just give a single unwrapped fruit daily. I give stacks of 3 because I wasn't getting photos, but now that I think about it, I think I was having that problem because I was using coconuts.

I don't give furniture because even though I don't care, other people do, and I want to increase my villagers' chances of getting adopted instead of being sent into the void.

I just hand them two wrapped foreign fruits a day, and hope for the best.

I did use the stack trick for a while, but I didn't notice much difference between using it and just handing over the wrapped fruit.

Since I don't mind if a villager becomes unoriginal, I gave them all kind of furniture and clothes where I think they would fit to them, sometimes also fruit. I send them some letters as well as talking to them at least once a day. I don't really have a bulletproof method, I just try out all kind of options to rise the friendship level in hope that someone gives their photo one day.
