Maybe it's just me (and most likely is), but what special something do you have in your town or towns that makes it unique or just meaningful to you?

I'm currently redoing two of my towns, but what ended up becoming my main town, Bunifrey, is incredibly special to me. It's a memorial town for my bunny, and I know others have done memorial towns, so that in and of itself isn't spectacular, but I have her "grave" in the center of town, and I think that makes the town a little different, and super special to me.

I'd love to hear other people's stories about their towns, and pictures are always appreciated!

My town is covered in blue roses, and I have an entire field full of them. All from two roses that I got from a Japanese girl I met on the island one day over 3 years ago.

My boyfriend got me acnl and my 3ds for my birthday over two and a half years ago (so I'd quit playing on his copy all the time lol) so my town's anniversary is on my birthday and it has a lot of sentimental value ^.^

As far as what makes it unique, I only use my own path designs, and I only wear my own custom designs if I'm not wearing an in game outfit.

I considered making a memorial town of my kitty who passed in May, but couldn't bring myself to do it because it is still a sore subject and I wouldn't be able to enjoy the game!

But anyway, my town's name is Elm, and I made a large letter "E" in white flowers in my little forest area and really think it is special. :) Wish I could attach a screenshot

I like to think my town layout is unique. What I consider most special about my town is that Rudy lives in it. I have a good friend in real life whose name is Rudy. :)

Wow, after hearing everyone's stories I just noticed that my town is pretty much not special compared to others'. :P
I guess what makes my town unique is that pretty much all of it has a pink and white theme. That's about it. >.<

What's special about my town is I put ore in front of the houses that matches the color scheme of it the best. I haven't seen anyone else really decorate with ore so I think that's pretty unique lol.

The theme is chocolate orange with mostly only white, gold, and black roses. Plus half the town is snooties!<3

there's nothing extremely unique about it, other than it is pretty colorful and I have lots of different flowers in my town. I love walking through the flowers and it makes me happy to see all of the different colors. I have a huge attachment to my town since it is the only town I have ever had and I will never start over. sometimes I like looking at old screenshots from when my town first started (over 2 years ago) and seeing pictures of my old villagers and how I used to look. it's amazing how far my house has come along and how my mayor's style has changed. overall the memories make my town special to me <3

I guess mine would be special for the unique areas in my towns. Like a chicken coop, lemonade stand, fruit stand, ice skating rink, etc. I also think some of my rooms in my houses are unique too. One of my favorites is my rubber ducky bathroom.

I think my path makes my town unique? I've seen several people doing clovers and stone qr's as their paths, but I ended up using the burying x's instead of clovers. I think it gives it a cool sort of organic feeling

My town isn't very special to anyone but me. The only things that might stand out to other people are the fact that my town only has white flowers (that they can see lol), and my villager Lolly came from my old town that no longer exists. That old town was also my first. I'd had it since the game released, and demolished it just last February.

I make my town special by putting time into it and improving it everyday. But what i think makes my town special is its native fruit mainly because the game selects it and makes it special for everyone

Well, I don't think my town is particularly special in comparison to some of the ones I've just read about here ;)
For me, probably the sheer amount of flowers I have. There is literally no empty space except for around the apple orchard. I also love all of my villagers, and in my opinion they're a great bunch and go together pretty well. They make my town very special.

your town sounds pretty! that's totally my goal, to have flowers covering EVERYWHERE but I have a ways to go

What makes my town special;

1) Because ACNL is the first game I've played in the series and Eden is my very first town
2) The layout with massive amounts of hybrids
3) My villagers
4) And lastly, the mayor because without her, Eden would cease to exist.
