What makes you and your town unique?

NO ROSES, I really hate roses :)

Omigosh same here. I love roses irl but they're so ugly in-game, pansies and tulips are my favorites.

I am also amongst those who don't plot reset.
I don't plan on ever selling or buying a villager, it feels against the spirit of the game to me.
I don't duplicate items or play the "stalk" market.
However, I do time travel frequently, usually no more than a day or even less.

The fact that I got my dreamies in 1 week real time with just 1 ds and I payed for none of them.

- - - Post Merge - - -

And I never lost a single dreamie, because I leave one character slot open to check with a noob if somebody left or not

1 I time traveled but now am bored of it so Im slowly going back to the original date
2 I think Im one of the only people on this forum who lets my town grow and play out naturally no plot resetting I honestly don't understand or know what that is tho I wish I did because gruff lives literally in front of my house Lol.
3 I also don't have paths. I did once and it was beautiful but somehow I can never make my town as perfect as some people's dream towns on here )': I am a creative person I just don't know where to begin with decorating my town
4 I kinda randomly place my pwps Nd I don't look for pings daily I let the villagers suggest than when they want them. Although I also wish I knew moral about doing that as I wish to unlock the ability for more
5 I don't have dreamies there are only villagers I miss! I let anyone come into the town and go as they please I beg the ones I like to stay and tell the ones I don't to leave but it's fair game other than that
P.s. I am thinking about trying to keep up with a dirt path tho I feel I'll hate it later.

Ugh, same with the plotting. I hadn't even heard of it, and stuff like lurking until I got to the forums... oops xp

i guess my town name is p unique???? i havnt seen a town named like mine (its S/2003 J btw)
uh also all my female dreamies have a -y name (whitney, lolly, lily, dotty, flurry)

I've never plot-reset. It sounds scary and I'd be afraid about corrupting save data or something, and for me it would kind of ruin the experience.

Right now the vision I have for my house is this mysterious mansion with a Victorian-esque feel. This means I'm having to farm for LOTS of bells in order to expand and buy furniture.

I don't care who moves into my town, I don't have dreamies. There's only one villager I don't particularly care for (Alli), but it's fine, we need some drama in Lindoria. ^_^

I like making hybrids, and I mix all my flowers up and place them around my house and my villagers' houses. I especially like the way it looks around my one and only pond. But I really don't like the way orange pansies look, and I have like a bazillion of them.

Reading this thread makes me want to focus more on sending letters and being creative and friendly with my villagers rather than trying to spruce my house up so much. It's funny how easy it is to get sucked up into money in this game I like because it takes me away from the stress of the real world where money is a very crucial thing.

I try not to include the villagers people usually want, like Marshal, Fang, Beau, Diana, etc. because they aren't that great in my opinion.

I also restrict myself to one type of animal per town. I also even let a Jock villager be a dreamie, a personality that not many people like.

1. I had never heard of dreamies until a couple of weeks ago. I still don't have them, but there are villagers I would like to at least see in my village for a little bit.

2. I didn't understand the fuss about Marshal and thought the whole thing was quite silly... but was randomly given him a few days ago and actually have to admit that he is pretty cute :3

3.My town is a lot more open plan than some I have seen... I have paths, but I have no desire to box everything in with bushes or overlay the entire map with grass & flower textures.

4. I have never plot reset. I am certainly not against it though, if it stops my hybrids or perfect fruit orchard getting squished >.<

I have one thing to say. I have stitches and muffy, and those two act like theyre bff's or something. It's sooo awesome. I don't know why, but I just enjoy that so much.

I guess mainly my building placement. I have all the shops together like a mini district. I have paths there with golden roses. I dont put the flowers anywhere else. I have this pink path though going about the town and have perfect orange trees on either side at times... like the trees are shading you as you walk -3-

I'm sure others do this, too, but I use a random number generator to give myself a new random hairstyle each day. Then, I buy clothes/accessories that I think go well with the hairstyle.

It's very interesting to read these. Some of these I have in common and I'm glad I'm not the only one.

1. I don't really care who moves where, so I never plot reset. If someone moves in a bad spot, I tend to just work around.

2. I don't want to keep the same villager around forever. Sure, there's a few where I would want to keep for a LONG time, but I wouldn't mind eventually moving them out.

3. I used to TT ALL the time in previous AC games. ACNL is the first game where I never TT'd even once and I don't plan on TT-ing either.

4. My town name itself. I have yet to see another town called Candyway.

5. After I obtain the gold watering can, I plan to get rid of all my flowers except roses, pansies, and violets. I don't really care for the other flowers. Once I obtain carnations, I will decorate with those too.

6. I don't really like pears in any season except for winter. I just hate the green on green. I plan on chopping down my pear trees and saving my pears in my closet, come springtime.

7. All my player characters have personalities/backstories and I play a little differently depending on which player character I pick.

8. I almost always give first-timers to my town a single perfect apple. It started because the first time someone came I was still new and didn't have much in the way of gifts. Now it's become my tradition. :P

That's all for now. I may edit this with more later if I think of more.

Oh wow, I love this thread a lot!!

1. Most of my dream villagers are tier 5... and they're dreamies because I had them in previous games and loved them to death. The only tier 1 that I have is Beau, who moved in randomly over no paths right next to my Town Hall, and I've adopted him as my favorite lazy villager :)
2. I'm going to keep my third player home as a tent, most likely... she lives in the middle of my fruit orchard and I love the feel of the tent, it makes the setting more natural.
3. I only use orange, pink, black, and occasionally yellow flowers in my town. I'm working on my DA which will be set in early November, so the colors work best with the fall scheme.
4. I DO plot reset, but I'm not obsessive about who moves where. The set up of houses is pretty organic, and I only make them move their plot if they're moving in over my paths. Everything else can be recovered. I've never understood the appeal of having villager houses in straight little rows.

Other than that... I'm kind of a basic ACNLer xD I plot reset, time travel a lot, have dreamies... I need to interact with my villagers more!! I've been so obsessed with getting my town perfect that I've neglected my relationship with the people in it.

I don't plot reset. I just work around them.
No yellow flowers in town but on the beach to make hybrids.
I have 3 towns. Main is Relaxed, 2nd town is lazy/easy going, 3rd town is Beautiful.
Town 3 is frozen right now. Each player is important to me and the houses are decorated to suit them. The fancy pathway is not working so I'm on a search for something that will work better.
I enjoy playing in the other 2 towns more.
Main town has some open spots. A few flowers, abunch of stumps and a maybe a bench. It's in places where I walk a lot and like to see the villager enjoying the stumps or sitting on the bench. It's a good night if you get an invite. Even better if you get 2 or 3.

1.i don that've an overload of clovers.

Oh no most of my ton is almost exactly same as everyone else ;;( in that nature fairy theme :;( and my mayor wears that kid outfit which people also wear a lot and my alt has pink as a theme :;( I'm sad now lol

I have never plot reset, EVER.
I always give my villagers that I don't want away. (NO matter what Tier they are.)
I sell the items I don't want. (Even if they are 'Not For Sale') If I think it is popular enough, I sell it to another player and keep the money to give to someone else that visits my town.
I never decorate my towns. I like to let things happen naturally. I only pull my weeds.
I have never enacted an ordinance until yesterday.
This is the first town I haven't put my Reset Center in. (I am so much happier without it.)

I sell just about every item I don't want, even rares/unorderables, in Re-Tail.
I don't check my fossils before I sell them. I just sell the plain ol' fossil straight from the ground.
I don't think gyroids are a cute decoration item (some people do? idk)
I really only like the dog, cat, wolf, and ostrich villagers.
I don't like customizing my furniture at Re-Tail! It looks weird to me.
I'm a sucker for big towns with lots of flowers, paths, PWPS.. go big or go home!

-I have a natural path that's just clovers and some mushrooms, no qr tiles~ (yeah lots of people have this.. I know..but....)
-I dislike yellow flowers tbh.... I want none of them
-I'm planning on getting and putting up the solar panel so that I can say my town is run on solar energy lol
-all the items in my and the other characters' inventories are all unorderable stuff.. I sell all my re-orderable stuff because i just have too many unorderables that I probably won't even use in the near future lol

-My town has lots of ground/street and little flower
-I only have about 4 small gardens with 1 or 2 types/color of flowers
-everything is very organized, I hate mess
-there's nothing pink in my town (maybe I'm the 1% from the 99% xD)
-I have a mushroom forest
-I use gyroids instead of manikins in my shops. manikins are just too freaking freaky
-my town is overall very "metropole" alike with the streets, screens and traffic light (most people go with the little paceful vibe town, which is nice too)
-I don't spreed fruit trees in my town, they have a special tillage (except some of my original fruits tree because I want to get more perfect fruits)

I think that's about it :p
