What laptop should I get for Christmas?

I don't believe you have one. You had said you didn't know the name of it and the URL to the picture clearly says Macbook-Air. And I don't believe you are pregnant when majority of time your sitting on TBT or loving your 26 year old husband which I never see if you talk to him. get a mac unless you play a lot of games, then windows would be best. I use to have a dell (windows xp) desktop ... HATED it. I saved up my money, bought a macbook and it has been the best thing I have ever spent my money on. I have had it a year and 1/2 and it's still really speedy and works like it just came out of the box. I will never go back to windows again.
Get something from HP, Dell, or E-machines. I love my E-machine.
Operating system(Windows, Linux) just depends upon what your going to be doing.
Windows = Games. When you buy a pc with windows, your buying the PC and OS.
Linux = Pretty much everything but games. You can order a laptop with a Linux distribution and probably cut your price in half.
So, if you have some games you need to play, get windows. If you think you don't need Windows software, then get Linux. Most software you buy and download are designed for windows, however there are a lot of free alternative open source software for Linux.
