What kind of theme does your island have (if any)?

I have a couple themes. Initially my island was going to be dedicated to just Dragon Age but now it has some areas dedicated to One Piece/pirates in addition to Dragon Age - medieval/magic, Middle Eastern/Egyptian, Japanese. My ideas are all over the place and am not sure how well they will mesh together when my island is finished.
I feel you. I want my island to be epic and I have all these ideas like you. Super cool themes you have going on there, though. It's hard to put it all together though...
i'm basic as hell, so mine is shaping up to be a fairy forest. right now i'm more concerned with making things pretty and picturesque than i am about making interesting microenvironments.
when i eventually get bored of this and tear it all down, i'm planning on doing a cityscape island.

Yeah that is my worry, but atm, I just put things up as I come up with the idea. I initially was going to wait until more furniture becomes available, but that is a lot of waiting I’d be doing and my island would never get done then. The worst thing that could happen is that my ideas end up looking not so good once my island is 100% and I’d need to take it down and that honestly isn’t bad since the whole fun is experimenting and finding what designs works.
Thanks! I think I can honestly make the pirate and medieval theme mesh well. and the little Middle Eastern and small Japanese area I have makes the island look less of an island and more like multiple regions. That isn’t a problem tbh since I’d like it look like you could take an adventure/journey.
Your idea sounds really cool as well. I really feel you about the terraforming; I have trouble with it myself. That is the one thing I do not have confidence in undoing if I decide to remove some of my projects that I have done that had involved terraforming.

Yea for sure! idk I have like an urban environment and then an orchard and camping idk it's all over the place lol. But I'm getting more items by trading on here and I watch YouTube island tours to help with ideas. Also if you ever want to show your island, I'd love to see it! sounds really cool and I would obv give you a tour of mine!
It's not very apparent in the entire island itself, but I wanted to make it a tourist destination. It has a cruise ship, animal run shops (to represent local made gods), seating areas sprinkled throu out the island, a fish market, a market place, a performing area, ect...

The simple answer it's a dangerous adventure island with pirates.

My island is segmented into multiple mini biomes, but the overarching theme is “cursed forest”. I’ve been inspired by multiple elements such as Brothers Grimm and national park decor.
I have like an urban environment and then also an orchard and some parks so it's urban, suburban, AND rural at times haha
I’m going with an actual island resort theme. I have an Oceanside clubhouse, a beach wedding reception setup, an infinity pool, a fitness/wellness centre, several playgrounds, a cafe, and I’m going to make an arcade next I think.

not much of one yet as i actually haven't been working working on it for too long now, but i wanna go for a nature, hippie, cottagecore sort of thing. kind of like the vibe harvey's island gives me.
all in all really i'm just trying to do what makes me happy and not worry about it too much. c:

i tried to go with a cottagecore themed island but i still have a lot of empty areas and yet to get 5 stars, work in progress still i guess. i just want to give it a nice cozy feel.
