What kind of Mayor IS your Mayor?

Do you play your Mayor as a smaller version of yourself with your personality? Or do they have their own? Do they only talk when villagers want to talk, or do they stand around all day looking for villagers to talk to?

Are they fashionable? Businesslike? Casual? A bum?

Maybe they're really competent, or maybe your Mayor is just learning the basics. Maybe your Mayor's a jerk that pushes people into pitfalls and smacks people with bug nets and shovels.

Is your Mayor even a Mayor? You could think of them as royalty or a villager with benefits.

I don't know- it's just one of those things that I've been thinking about lately.

So what's your Mayor like?

My mayor is her own person. She's fashionable and I think of her as the Zen queen of my town.. since my town is going to be japanese themed.

My mayor is, in a word, kawaii. She likes cute dresses and matching glasses and accessories and things of that sort. She's very social. Mist is quite talkative and has been told a few times by her neighbors that she ought to have something better to do, yet she takes pride in getting to know her villagers. Her two favorite hobbies are downloading QR codes for her closet and perusing GracieGrace's section of the department store (her wallet is steep and she's not afraid to show it). She's really patient and always willing to help villagers in need, even if that means they're sending her all around town to deliver things in her new 4,000 Bell shoes.
Mist juxtaposes my personality completely. I'm quiet, humble, awkward, and not what you'd call fashionable. I consider Mist to be the kind of person I wish I could be... but I'm not. ^^;

Lafiel - Outgoing and stubborn. She loves being mayor.

Zakuro - Brilliant and a shut-in. She's extremely intelligent, but often shuts herself inside her house because she dislikes people.

Mei - Sweet and kind. He enjoys gardening and helping people out. He also likes wearing more feminine clothing since he finds it cuter than male clothing. He is not a 'trap' and still identifies as male.

My mayor is such a pushover. All the villagers take advantage of his kindness, not caring that he actually has a very important job to do. One day, when he passes out from exhaustion, they will all realise how selfish and lazy they have been.

My mayor loves fashion, has a close circle of friends and has pastel purple hair like me she loves roses and nothing but roses!

My mayor is a mayor.

I mean, it is called at town right? So I'm gonna make it like one. Road paths, stores, arcade, food, hotel. So semitry yet a tad bit of sloppyness.

My mayor is laid back, talks to her favorite villagers time to time. She is competitive and likes to earn stuff her own way.

My mayor's....kind of a jerk, now that I think about it. She's really nice and social and talks to everyone, but she sells most of the items they give her that aren't useful to her. She only does favors for them if she has time to, and she buys everything out of their houses until they're just empty shells of mismatched furniture, lol. But other than that, she likes pastel colors and tries her best to keep everything running smoothly.

My mayor is cute and fashionable, currently rocking the purple polka dot dress, heart sunglasses and a purple hairbow wig
As far as the town goes, she completes one PWP every other week, makes sure there is never a weed in sight, is trying to complete the museum, always runs errands for villagers if asked to and is always sociable to her neighbors.

My Mayor is a little scatter-brained. Her outfits hardly ever match...she is working on paths, gardening and her home all at the same time. She often forgets to talk to her villagers. She's a mess. Nothing like me at all.

Ettienne is like myself in appearance, but more fashionable. She's what I wish to be. Nice clothes, a love of gardening, a classic home (once it's finished), with awesome neighbors

Ah, since I didn't say anything in the OP about mine-

I think my mayor isn't all that bad of a guy. He's a little misdirected, maybe. He really likes having people suck up to him. REALLY. His favorite people are the ones that are always ready to tell him what a great job he's doing / how good he looks (so photogenic!) / how amazing his stuff is.

He admires Crankies because he wants to be a super tuff guy- but it's just not happening. That doesn't stop him from pretty much attaching himself to the nearest Cranky and talking their ears off. How to be awesome pls?

He's also into Smugs, because they flirt with him every once in a while, and it makes him feel validated.

He's "Look at me!" the Mayor, basically. I dig it.

My mayor's basically just a miniature me.
She dresses how I'd like to, has my name, looks as much like me as I could get her to. The pink hair, lazy eyes.

She's laid back and real quiet, but loves her closest friends. She likes flowers and making the town pretty, and pretty clothes.
She's always buying clothes for everyone else around town, and sending them other presents. She's always happy when someone asks to come over or drops by unexpectedly. She will also always help a villager out if she has the time and it isn't too much of a task.

Highly competent, but seemingly a bit laid back or spacy. Pretty suspicious. She's technically a tyrant but when you speak to her, she's pleasant. Super diplomatically friendly concerning strangers. Sometimes gets into bad moods and becomes manipulative or just makes you feel bad. Outspoken if you ask her to be.


She does take some facets from my personality but some it of is overblown haha!

My mayors are pushovers and do anything the villagers ask of them. They wear what the villagers pick out for them and secretly hoard pictures xD

My mayor is the side of me that I don't show irl. At first I wanted to dress her in normal clothes similar to what I'd wear irl, but that was before I got the QR machine unlocked. Now she just runs around wearing cute lolita/harajuku dresses, kimonos and even cosplay outfits, which is all stuff I'd love to wear irl but don't have the confidence for.

I'm doing my best to design my mayor like me. She seems shy at first, but when you get to know her, she's the craziest, most creative, and sweetest person you'll ever meet! She loves helping her villagers and making Macaron the best place possible. She will visit the island almost every night in search of beetles, so she can have enough Bells to build important projects. She is quite fashionable and loves buying all of the cute clothes the Able Sisters have to offer! She is also fond of furniture sets that earn high points in the HHA, such as the princess set and the rococo set, and enjoys planting hybrids throughout the town. She appreciates every single letter from her villagers and writes to them constantly about her life, or just as thanks! The villagers do tend to take a slight advantage of her kindness by asking her to deliver a lot of packages or get a piece of fruit, but she will take care of the job easily nonetheless. She listens to what her villagers have to say, and although she doesn't build some of the projects they ask for, she makes sure that they will be pleased in their environment, even if what they wanted wasn't built. New campers will enjoy her positive and outgoing attitude, even if they don't plan on living in Macaron. She puts heart into the village and strives to make Macaron one of the best towns to live in!

I've also noticed a prevalence of Lolita fashion in- well, all of this. Lol. Kinda odd.
