What items do you notice your villagers liked / didn’t like?

For example, I gave Midge a fedora and she loves it. Biskit likes the tie dye shirt. Teddy likes the teddy bear green shirt with his picture on it.

I didnt give Flora a caveman outfit. I delivered it. She wouldn't wear anything else. I complain to Isabelle and she comes back with it the next day. oh Flora.

Cherry loves the pastel dreamy sweater that Judy gave her. For a character whose style is black, I thought it was really cute seeing her often with such a brightly-colored outfit.

Cherry LOVES her black bomber jacket and pilot shades. She wears them all the time.

Shep seems to like the beige skull shirt I gave him. He likes to remind me that I gave it to him too.

Sprinkles just LOVES this ugly green outfit that she supposedly forgot at Rudy’s house and he had me deliver. I used to complain to Isabelle but I don’t bother now; at least she’s not a permanent resident.

On a more positive note, I gave Rudy a Viking shirt and helmet (just gave it to him today) and he loves it though he doesn’t wear it every day.

I gave Merry a Renaissance dress and she seems to like it; when I gave it to her she was happy but wasn’t as overjoyed as Rudy. I’m guessing the outfit style isn’t the style she likes but the color matched the color she likes.

Roscoe loves the Noble black jacket I gave him, but he doesn’t wear it all the time.

I see Lucky wearing the gray collarless overcoat I gifted him more than his default one so I guess he really likes it lol

I gave Caroline a kind of cosmos crown for her birthday. I thought she'd like it, since it's colorful and she likes colorful things. She hasn't worn it since and it just sits in her house where her chair used to be.

Freya talks about the viking top I gave her, and wears it most of the time.

Graham loves the brown tweed jacket I gave him, while I see Dom wearing the rainbow sweater more often than his regular tie-dye shirt

I think Beau really likes the green glasses I gave him early on in the game. I think it looks silly on him and if he was any other character I’d be really annoyed but on him at least it looks cute!
I’ve given Fang a few clothes but I always see him wearing the blue coat I gave him (forgot the actual name of the item).
I also see my villagers wearing the designs I put up over at Ables from time to time.
Also never tried it myself, but I think villagers will become angry/offended if you try to give them trash.

Tangy LOVES her halo wears it all the time but she refuses to wear a dress I gave her molly loves her doll dress I think it’s called? But has only worn her solstice crown once lol

Thanks! Sadly, Rudy now has decided to use the helmet as furniture instead of as a hat . I’ll try to give him a few more days to see if he rotates it and wears it before i decide to boot him and reinvite him for the second time (it doesn’t look good as furniture with his house).

I would love to see what your villagers look like in those clothes you gave them .

Any sort of dress/long shirt I give cat she tends to always be like "not really my thing but I'll try it on"...even though some of them aren't generically "cute" style...like the shirtdress, tee dress, oversized sweats dress, etc.
She still wears it though so that's all that matters. >:3

Zucker just loves having anything to replace the "sticky" clothes he's wearing supposedly.

Kabuki, Marshall, and Genji all seemed to really love the nook aloha shirts.
