What items are included for the catalog badges?

I think that stationery might be included in it too since it's a category when you use the machine in the Nooklings shop. I don't know if gyroids count (even though they're also a category there) since you can't really buy them.

Art? Fossils? KK songs? All that?
KK Songs make sense as counting. I think that Art and Fossils count too. The only things that don't count, as far as I know, are bugs and fish (unless they do but it doesn't make much sense to me, since they have their own badges).
Villager pics do not count. And there are reports that the DLC don't count in the percentages either so that geographic location and internet availability don't penalize you. In general, if you can see it in the shopping catalog at Nooks, it counts. That's why I'm not sure about artwork for the museum - it doesn't show up there.

Streetpass items and villager pics definitely do not count. Anything not in your kiosk catalog doesn't count
