My town name is Meryton, from Pride & Prejudice. My Mayor is Flutter, which has been my name in all my AC games. I kind of wish I had made it a P&P name, but I moved from another town, so I couldn't plan that. I have secondary characters Firth (as in Colin Firth - best Mr. Darcy ever!) and Jane (as in Jane Austen).
Neon. I couldn't think of a name and I really wanted to play, and there was a song called neon or something stuck in my head so I decided to name it neon
Sidensj?. It's a swedish village not far from where I grew up and I really like the name. It translates to Silk lake. I like it more in english actually, or when someone from southern Sweden says it. My northern dialect kind of ruins it... xD
Mine is Callisto, my favorite moon of Jupiter, which happens to be my favorite planet in our solar system.
My husband and I started our towns as Callisto and Europa (another moon of Jupiter) because we're nerds, but then he sold his 3DS and copy of his game (monetary issues) but I loved my town so much that I kept it and the name. I designed both of our flags when we started, so I kept both designs and now have them in my house next to eachother in homage, as well as feature Europa in my signature image.
