What is your town name and why?

mine is Carthage! it's the name of the college i go to haha

TorgoBay: Because I'm weird and wanted something named after Torgo (from Manos: The Hands of Fate)

Vale: Didn't name it, bought it used

Bascom: Named after Florence Bascom (Mayor is Florence)

Parcell: Named after and stylized for Kenneth Parcell (Mayor is Kenneth) from 30 Rock.

I named my town Colony 9 because I love Xenoblade Chronicles!

My main town is called Konoha.... I had no ideas and Naruto popped into my head. XD

My second town is called 8-Bit.... I don't know why I called it that. I guess I just liked the name of it? XDDD

My town's name is Settia.
The original name was Poinsettia, I love this flower! but the game not allowed more space and finally, had to be called Settia. No problem, sound good

my main town is named pouring, and i'm themeing it around like a weird fantasy version of seattle, with a lot more weird legends.

i just bought a digital copy, and the town is (at least for now) called atchison-- i named my mayor after amelia earhart, and atchison is her hometown. B)

Mine is Hyrule because I'm a huge The Legend of Zelda fan.

Mine is Honeyton. I wanted to name it Appleton, but I could never get apples as my native fruit while having decent starting villagers. Eventually I gave up and swapped Apple for Honey. My native is now peaches, which isn't the worst I guess... I'm happy with it.

(Edit) I live in a place called Appleton so that's where I got it originally. I like the name.

Mine is Ophelia.
I originally wanted to name it Hyrule, or have my characters name having something to do with the Legend of Zelda. The name Zelda made me think of an artist I listen to called Zella Day. She has a lovely song named "Sweet Ophelia" that's my favorite of hers, and I thought it'd make a good town name!

I named my town Nectere because I learned it in Latin class (to bind) and I think it's nice both phonetically and semantically.

Ultron: because Avengers Age of Ultron came out at the time & i went to the premier, in London and I have a Marvel obsession.

Jurassic: Pretty much the same as above, i love the Jurassic Park films & world so named my town after that.
