Mine's Haven as well, I've been using that name for AC towns since way back in 2005. I got the idea from the Artemis Fowl book series, I think it perfectly encapsulates what I enjoy about Animal Crossing and how I feel playing it.
My town name is Ajassa. There's no real reason as to why I chose that name in particular. But the word 'ajassa' does have a meaning. It translates to something like 'in time'. The English translation might be a bit misleading, though, without giving it a context or at least explaining it a bit further. The word 'ajassa' doesn't mean anything like 'on time' or 'in time for something'. The phrase 'in time for something' would be ajoissa. Ajassa means 'in time' in a literal sense. In time is a word to word translation. Sometimes I like to think that it's not the town's actual name, but suggests that the unnamed town exists in (the flow of) time. It makes more sense this way. But I don't know if my 2 am explanation did.
My town's name is Foxwood. It sounds like a legit town name, I love foxes just as much as bunnies(kinda disappointing Redd's the only fox in the game), and it's the name of the region I'll be in once the new virtual pet site Furvilla is up and running! ^^
My town's name is Majik. I can't remember why but one time in pokemon heartgold I named a zubat Majik and I've just been naming things Majik since then.
Lycoris: After Lycoris radiata, the flower. One of my favorites along with chrysanthemum and hydrangea.
Ixora: After the flower, ixora. No real reason other than it's aesthetically pleasing (and the flower is pretty too)
Mine is Maui. I really don't like the name, but ever since I was a kid I was always naming my towns "Hawaii" or "Maui" or something like that... I'm thinking of restarting and naming my town Kokomo.
My town name is Moon Bay. My girlfriend and I started playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the same day and we wanted to have town names that went together in a sense. After some thought, we decided that our towns would have the words "Moon" and "Sun" in them. We then wanted to think of 3 and 4 letter words to accompany them to make it seem like our town names were more than just words we thought were cute, and we came up with "Bay" and "Cove". Hence, my town is called "Moon Bay" while my girlfriend's town is called "Sun Cove" .
My main town is Groddle, named after the Groddle region in the now-gone MMO, Glitch, which I loved so much. My secondary town is Saalatu, named after the Salatu region in Glitch, which was where my character, VS, lived for much of her Glitch-time (SALATU REPRESENT). And my proxy town, Earl, is named after one of our cats (my partner names pretty much everything "Earl" in honour of the cat).
