What is your opinion on lazy villagers?

When I posted about 3 lazies I was going off my impression. Despite being a jock, Goose barely pumps more often than Victoria and Audie. He comes to me with items he wants me to buy because he needs money. His home is sparse. He sits under trees while claiming certain muscles are being worked out. He write me about his lack of brain muscle workout. So my perception of him was lazy. But now I am realize that to be AC jock behavior not lazy.

I replaced my lazy Benedict villager with Grizzly this week so I am left with one lazy now, Boomer.

I had Weber as a camper yesterday and I looked up his personality type. He was lazy. Because I have become so endeared to Boomer, I thought I would invite Weber to move in. But as I continued to converse with him, his conversations bordered on gross and turned me off. Boomer's conversation is more unkempt, soft spoken and childlike. It's not gross. Apparently in the realm of lazies, there are distinctive variations in conversation styles so I can no longer commit to saying I like all lazies.

They have some of the cutest designs, but their dialogue in NH gets stale and off-putting very quickly.

Yea there's only so much nasty dialogue I can deal with. Them living with and liking bugs is fine. There are a lot of very interesting bugs! But them saying 'Normal villager told me I couldn't eat my weight in cheese. She was right. I reversed snacked after I got 20 pounds in' among other dialogue is kinda gross. I remember them talking about eating in the tub and having crumbs congeal into bathtub paste. Lines like that aren't really endearing.

They're probably my favorite designs overall for the characters. I really wish that they added a bunch more dialogue in the updates they've done, as the lazy's in particular get incredibly repetitive when speaking to them. If they just added in New Leaf or Wild World dialogues for personality types, that would have been amazing. Quite a shame they never did

Yeah. Lazies have my favorite villager designs.
