What is your favorite movie of all time?

Has anyone else even seen Taxi Driver?
I saw parts of it when I watched AFI's 100 Greatest Movies. Looks like a good movie.
It's pretty crazy. A lot of people would probably find it offensive, but I think it's a great movie.

It's very difficult for me to decide, but it's probably Star Wars of course (even though I can't pick one of them). Braveheart is one of my favorites too.

I have too many faves, but let me narrow it down.

Back to the Future Trilogy - no other set of movies have I seen that so perfectly combines action, comedy, love story, sci-fi, musical, and excitement (plus one is a western).

The Patriot - I love war movies (especially ones that involve American history), and Mel Gibson is great in these dramatic roles.

Young Frankenstein - One of the best Mel Brooks movies. Gene Wilder is great in this movie. If you haven't seen it, GO SEE IT NOW!

White Christmas - I love holiday movies and this is the pinnicle of holiday greatness. Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney...I mean, what more could you ask for in a 50+ year old movie. Many great Irving Berlin classics were born in this film too.

Finally, Mission Impossibe 2 - As much as I can't stand Tom Cruise anymore, this movie was the height of his career. The soundtrack is amazing (and I listen to it regularly). John Woo directed this flawlessly and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Also, Dougray Scott makes one of the greatest modern day villians.

Some honorable mentions are Batman Begins (can't wait for the Dark Knight sequel), Spiderman 2 (Doc Ock is the best Spidey Villain ever), Rocky 4, Indy Jones and the Temple of Doom, and the Fugitive.

Definitely see Across the Universe. One of the most original and enjoyable movies I've come across, and my favorite musical by far.

:D I enjoy movies with bad humor.
Ugh.

You and my stepmom.

I'll go with Zoolander for comedy, LotR 3 for action, and The Manchurian Candidate for serious-ness.

Also, bump.

Edit - I've heard good and bad things about Across the Universe, if it's a disgrace to the Beatles, I don't want to see it.

I dunno, I really liked Across the Universe and I'm a big fan of the Beatles. There are a lot of little things that show how much the creators listened to and respected them, i.e. almost every character's name is from a Beatles song.

Across the Universe was more like "Hey, let's butcher ever highly acclaimed Beatles' song in one sitting." The acting was alright, and the story was passable, but when they started singing, I just lost it. I had to leave a few times it was getting so bad.

I'd give the show one thumb up, and a bucket of dramamine, maybe a few muscle relaxants as well.
