I saw parts of it when I watched AFI's 100 Greatest Movies. Looks like a good movie.yasuharu said:Has anyone else even seen Taxi Driver?

It's pretty crazy. A lot of people would probably find it offensive, but I think it's a great movie.UltraByte said:I saw parts of it when I watched AFI's 100 Greatest Movies. Looks like a good movie.yasuharu said:Has anyone else even seen Taxi Driver?

I dunno, I really liked Across the Universe and I'm a big fan of the Beatles. There are a lot of little things that show how much the creators listened to and respected them, i.e. almost every character's name is from a Beatles song.Mino said:Ugh.JJH0369 said:Blades of Glory or Borat.

You and my stepmom.
I'll go with Zoolander for comedy, LotR 3 for action, and The Manchurian Candidate for serious-ness.
Also, bump.
Edit - I've heard good and bad things about Across the Universe, if it's a disgrace to the Beatles, I don't want to see it.
Way to pick one that came out over the summer...Knightshot said:Transformers!!!
Across the Universe was more like "Hey, let's butcher ever highly acclaimed Beatles' song in one sitting." The acting was alright, and the story was passable, but when they started singing, I just lost it. I had to leave a few times it was getting so bad.JJRamone2 said:I dunno, I really liked Across the Universe and I'm a big fan of the Beatles.
